Splatoon 2 getting a lot of the coverage even though it's coming out later than MARIO kart and Zelda lol
Well this is Japan it probably be a bit more beneficialI think they shouldn't do any ads that are just the tablet only.
Yeah, weird that they're trying to get people to buy a new system by advertising a popular IP.Splatoon 2 getting a lot of the coverage even though it's coming out later than MARIO kart and Zelda lol
Because it's easily the most popular of the three. At least with the younger audience

The Japanese are smart enough to know that's just part of the Switch package.I think they shouldn't do any ads that are just the tablet only.

Splatoon is the biggest console game of this gen.
Splatoon 2 having local ad hoc play could be massive. Like Monster Hunter massive.

Yeah I was thinking about the Monster Hunter local multiplayer phenomenon and how that might affect Splatoon.
We already have ARMS coming, so there's that.Nintendo is going to invest a lot resources into Splatoon 2 now that they're confident in the IP. Same as they did with Fire Emblem Awakenings.
They really should continue to take more risks with new IPs and strengthen some of their old, forgotten ones.
I like how in 2017 we'll see all of the old guard (Mario Kart, Smash, Zelda, 3D Mario), making way for possible new IPs and potentially forgotten faces in 2018 and beyond.

mother of god. i hadn't thought about that at all. i mean, i'd totally thought "it's nuts a game revolving around online multi did this well in japan," but i hadn't gone on to see the switch possibility yet.
welp. splatoon gonna see some gen-over-gen growth if spla2n really does have good local options.

Because it'll be THE system seller there.Splatoon 2 getting a lot of the coverage even though it's coming out later than MARIO kart and Zelda lol
I don't think anything's ever been said about Splatoon's demographics...
the dominating presence of fluffy squid toys throughout tokyo is probably a pretty good clue
MK8 already getting Squids, new battle mode, etc.Any word if Mario Kart 8 or Smash for Switch will receive exclusive content? Wii U owner here...
