Yeah, i mean, it's almost unbelievable to read through Crash threads and seeing so much salt, even when some aren't overly aggressive, they are dismissing that a lot of people actually loves Crash, it's so funny, lol.

The game's director has outright stated that Sony came to Activision to make this game and that is how development started. Check some of the video interviews from around December or January.

I believe the point they're trying to make is that there are people in here who are saying that Crash was never a good game, and people only played it because they didn't have an N64 and Mario 64.
It's not people saying they didn't like the game, it's people acting as though they can see the real truth that no one played it because they liked it which is the problem with the Crash threads on here. As if people who enjoy Crash are just stupid, and can't see the big picture.

Worth noting in terms of budget / expectations this may be the most successful Remaster ever. (Obviously GTAV is much bigger but that was expected to be a massive juggernaut)

Looks like the game will do very well. IMO I think the critics should have given even better review scores, for $40 this is absolutely amazing value, right along with Wipeout collection.

I would say GTAV current-gen release was a port, not remaster. But yeah, the RoI on this release must be huge.

I never played a Crash game outside of Uncharted 4, so I'm not qualified to render an opinion on whether they were ever good or not. Congrats to Vicarious Visions either way.

It's a lot of pure game play and that is a good thing, I hardly find what makes Horizon or other open world games that appealing but to be fair I have yet to play Horizon to know how it really feels so it may not be as I seem to make it sound for me. May like it.
I do wonder if it was stated and stated harder to be a ps4 exldusive if it would have sold more than actually being on more platforms. I also wonder if this will get Sony to try and lock it up and promote it as such and go ahead with a 4 or CTR
