loaded up the patch... no rope fix it appears. still getting like 12-17 fps when I stare at a rope.
What the hell is wrong with them?
The framerate's supposed to go to shit when I stare at those ropes? Cuz I'm getting a locked 30 when I do, and it only dips when I look across a long distance, but switching to SMAA fixes that.

If I heard correctly, the consoles run at settings lower than the low PC settings? Does anyone know a config file for those settings? I'd like to give my two-year-old laptop a fighting chance before it admits defeat.
I think it actually may be a MGPU poroblem. You have on 670 right?

You have to wait for more unlocked cvars for that, because You can tweak e_GI to 0 [its on even on Low], but i dont think it will turn off GI at all.

Yes, maybe is confusing because water reflections don't have relation with ssreflections. Different values affects the way that ssr shader filter the pixels. Find a shiny metal surface and test, I like 3 more because is soft, others are too pixelated.

Bow sensitivity reduced to match Assault Scope values on PS3/X360 as they have similar zoom values. PC remains as before
SCAR+Laser long distance effectiveness reduced.
Threat Awareness module levelling targets reduced to 3/10 enemy C4's destroyed
Potential fix for "Incoming!" Skill Assessment not levelling up correctly

I disabled my HUD because its too busy and detracts from the visuals but I'd like to still like to see objective markers and the energy bar maybe, though I can deal with just the suits audio cues. Wish I could pick and choose what the HUD shows, but if I can't ill just keep it disabled because I really don't like it.
I really hope crytek supports this hyperthreading mod. 30% improvement in fps is huge! I'm glad I went the with 3770k.
So the mod was only necessary for crysis 2? It's out the box supported for 3? Awesome I was unaware.

Man, just bought the game after having tons of fun in the beta and after around 30mins - 1 hour the game just crashes to desktop.
"Crysis 3 has stopped working". Googled around and tried loads of stuff to try fix it but nothing is working

I sure hope they fix the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED error that keeps me from playing the game more than 20 minutes at a time. I kept thinking my card was overheating, but right after getting this error I would run FURMARK for 15 minutes at 1080p no probem.
would you get similar performance to intel hyperthreading with an amd 8 core (4 module) cpu?
would be interesting if amd's more cores actually ever started paying off...
