There are like 500 people left playing this on 360, if half of them buy this pack they would make $3750. If that holds on PS3 and PC as well we are talking $10k. Even if the costs are minimal I cant see how this makes any real money for them. Seems like a complete waste of time.

There are 500 people playing it at any given time. It's not like the same 500 people are playing it 24/7. It could be a couple of thousand people, who play it off and on.

Either way, this DLC isn't going to fail just like the Crysis 2 DLC.

I guess I am one of those 500 on PC? I love the Cell Vs Rebel mode, and play often - but given the limited user base and how dead the servers are, even I have a hard time justifying this purchase.

Good point you are right that those same 500 are not online all the time. Even if it is a couple thousand though I just dont see how they make much off of this. Especially when you factor in the money that MS/Sony takes from each sale.

I actually kind of liked the MP in Crysis 3. The suit powers and the high jump with the verticality in the maps. But the framerate gets so damn choppy on PS3 that I just couldn't handle it anymore.

News of a next gen port would have been exciting for me. This news here though....

I love the Crysis 3 SP (never launched the MP).

Got about 30 hours just replaying the campaign and skipping the story. Game gives you a lot of fun tools, great environments and serviceable enough AI. Oh, and it's really pretty. And since the patch when the fixed the r_DrawNearFOV setting sticking between loads the game is great. Well, I love it at least.

Really? I mean maybe i'm just a pessimist but it was pretty obvious to me that it would just be a DLC map pack.

I agree that it completely sucks, but that doesn't mean I expected it to be anything otherwise.
