This is all about Sony's absolutely asinine return policy, not about quality.
I do not understand this line of thinking. Sony stands to profit more by leaving the game up buggy or not. Even if they have to make an exception to their asinine return policy. Not everyone that buys the game will return it The game broken for their biggest costumer base. They pulled it and it was the right thing to do. Glad they took the lead and others followed to put pressure on CDPR.

Yeah we’ve seen it before just like the reputation of Bethesda and other studios. Just like how people know CDPR for great support, they’ll also be known of this broken mess on launch.

As well as they should. But we all know that all this drama will be irrelevant when they start hyping Witcher 4. If there is one thing you can be sure of its that people never learn.
