Not sure why this movie was needed. The cast looks pretty close to the original cast, but I doubt they'll get that old vibe back. I'm not sure you ever could so long after the original.

Fun fact: the theme song was one of my Grandfather's favorite songs. He used to sing it a lot - which was made extra funny because his English was really bad (he was Dutch). Lots of warm memories of watching that show.

I don't expect it to be any good, but I'll probably end up taking my dad to see it. That's probably the audience they're banking on - (grown up) kids taking their (elderly) parents to relive some memories. Oh well.

I don't get the complaint that "It doesn't have the original actors", of course it doesn't have the original actors, they're all dead. I don't see a problem here, cast seems pretty strong. There wasn't much in those 40 seconds, but 40 seconds isn't something I usually just an entire movie on.

I'll hold my criticisms till I see more, because right now, there isn't much to go on.
