Oh hey, it's the costume:

Spoilers all day every day. I wonder if anyone is going to go through it tonight. I'll only be able to manage an episode or two.

I'm sure its been talked to death but something just looks off with that costume mask. Won't judge until I see it in motion but every time I look at it it throws me off lol

No black bars for me!

Spoilers all day every day. I wonder if anyone is going to go through it tonight. I'll only be able to manage an episode or two.
I'm staying up until two to watch a couple episodes but I have a test tomorrow (well technically today), so I have to get some sleep. Whenever I get through with my test I'll be watching as many as I can before my girlfriend decides that she's sick of it.

Just to note: That episode-character legend is wrong. Thus far Jack appears in episode 2 as well and Fisk istn in episode 1 or 2.

Fisk is in episode 1, or at least his voice is.
I assume whoever made that list is going by credits, that's why Fisk is always listed. *(see edit)
It doesn't explain Jack in episode 2, though.

I dared to skip ahead to the last episode, and scanned the credits and final scenes.
I found no trace of a bigger MCU connection or cameo. There is no post-credits scene either.

EDIT: I was wrong, Fisk wasn't credited in episode 2

up to episode 5 damn this series is brutal

also is this in the same universe as the avengers just with them keep hinting at new york

In episode 3 or 4 there's mention of "a man in an iron suit" and a "magical hammer."

Yeah, and they also mentioned the battle of New York early.

But I was specificly talking about the last episode, and bigger connections, like SHIELD appearing. Or a hook towards Jessica Jones. Something that goes beyond name-dropping.

I only scanned the episode, and did not watch the whole thing.

YOU EMBARRASSED ME!

I like this portrayal of Kingpin so far but the flip-floppy writing is definitely doing him no favors.

Only watched the first episode. Thought it was amazing apart from a couple of acting from some small bit parts.

This show reminds me of Hannibal kind of, especially Cox's portrayal of Matt seems similar to Will and the intro is similar to Hannibal as well. Then the sound design also has a bit in common. Or I am imagining things.

Best live action super hero tv show ever made, hands down from the first ep I've seen. haha

Holy fuck that hallway fight in episode 2 is some amazing shit. One of my favorite scenes from anything in the MCU to date. Then the transition to that fight at the beginning of episode 3. Loving every minute of this.

Finished the show. There's a lot of good stuff here. They left us with some questions about Madame Gao. D'onofrio is really good as Kingpin, shows a lot of range, and sounds exactly the way he should. Cox is good as Murdock, but he doesn't give as varied or nuanced a performance as D'onofrio. I could have used more Night Nurse and less Karen, though I liked them both. Bummed about Urich - I would have liked to have seen him in more things down the road.

It's well shot, well written, well acted. I've got no significant complaints. I will definitely rewatch it over the next week. This sets the bar high for the upcoming Marvel Netflix shows.

Finished all 13 episodes around 1:15PM PST. Had to break a little here and there :)

Whew that was a ride... I loved it so much. It's going to be painful watching other superhero shows for a while.

It was the right choice saving the suit for so late, you literally only see it for the last 15 or so minutes. It looked quite good I thought.

The "characters that appear in which episode" list in the OP is a LIE so yeah, please remove that.
Who was the guy at the end of Ep 7?
I would love to know that too... feels like they are setting something up for Defenders or one of the future seasons of the companion shows, but seems like it could be a character from the comics.

Outside of that scenario it feels like most of the show was really contained and isn't bleeding over into future shows/seasons, outside of the whole Fisk-in-prison situation.
