Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 | Teaser Trailer

Fantastic ending to the second season. Love how it sets up a lot for future stuff happening

Matt Murdock having his Iron Man moment by saying he's Daredevil in a courtroom full of people

I really loved the action scenes in this especially

Fisk taking on all those protestors was fun to watch

Bullseye once again stole the show for me, I really hope he shows up more in Season 3

Also Luke Cage showing up at the end of the episode was great and him closing that door with the words Alia Investigations etched into it was a treat

Fantastic episode and can't wait to see Danny Rand show up next season

I know lot of people didn't like Season 1 of this show but the new showrunners really turned things around. Having seen a lot of their body of work outside of the MCU, it didn't surprise me. Marvel Studios did a great job hiring these two guys to helm Season 2

Matt being in prison puts him in a good position to have a cameo in Spider Man, since the trailer shows him in a prison and fighting The Hand, a more typically Daredevil associated faction (for the MCU at least).

edit:

also, looks like the finale has been received pretty well generally:

I'm aware due to watching that Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer. It's gonna to be interesting to see if any of the other street level superheroes show up in the movie. That one part they showed in that trailer looked like it had characters edited out. The one part where Spider-Man is fighting what I think is the Hand ninjas

I'm surprised that the finale was that well recieved. I'm happy that Marvel Studios got those two guys as the showrunners for Season 2. I hope they keep them on for the rest of the upcoming seasons of the show. I highly reccomand you check out their non MCU stuff, I have loved every movie they made so far

What an entertainingly bizarre season finale.

Everything to do with how Karen's trial ends is highly silly. Matt calls Fisk as a witness, and apparently Fisk agrees to this because.....? Also Hochberg's brain turns completely to the OFF position by encouraging Fisk to do so, which no lawyer in their right mind would do, considering there was nothing for Fisk to gain and everything to lose in doing so. I get that there's an expectation to suspend disbelief at some of this stuff, but I don't think it is good writing that characters which were previously established as being fairly intelligent must be made stupid in order to advance the plot.

And speaking of disbelief, the notion that a state attorney general would offer to let Fisk walk away after he just tried to have the state's governor assassinated is ridiculous, and gets even more ridiculous when the offer is still available to him after he murders dozens of protestors with his bare hands live on camera.

Also whatever happened to Buck? Did they just forget that he had been shot?

Just watched this an hour ago, and yeah this completely lost me. There is absolutely no way Fisk should have been allowed to walk for those exact reasons. Also, watching this with my wife, we 'joked' that this being set in America, there's no way multiple guns wouldn't have made its way into that courthouse and someone would have taken Fisk out. Obviously the character is an enduring Marvel staple and has to survive to fight another day, but if this were a 'real life' situation Fisk would have been taken out.

Also, as to why Fisk would consent to being called up....I wonder if he felt he'd be able to leverage his knowledge of Matt's alter-ago to his advantage. Matt coming clean pretty much took away any power he had over him and flipped the case on its head. Nothing in the show indicates this was Fisk's thinking, it's just my personal head canon for what his underlying motive may have been.
