There's some debate as to which show is better (GAF seems to think it's Daredevil, I've seen other opinions elsewhere). Daredevil is much more of an action show.

But if you liked Jessica Jones, I would definitely give Daredevil a shot.

Personally, I think it's the best thing Marvel has done, period, and I've never really cared for the comics. I've actually watched the entire season twice already, and will give it another go when they finally grace us with a bluray release.

He's obviously not going to show up in the skull shirt declaring himself the Punisher any more than Matt showed up in a red suit calling himself Daredevil.
I'm guessing the media will name him the Punisher (like they did Daredevil) during the season, which he'll embrace and wind up getting himself an emblem eventually.
