Who are Daredevil's other villains?

Like to see Bullseye next:

DeKnight is part of Whedon's crew, right? Goddard is too - he bounced and there was a little ill-will there, but he didn't exactly handle his bailing on Daredevil all that well. Whedon's in the process of walking right now. I wonder if there's something to all of this, or if it's just coincidence, or just business as usual.

Doug Petrie is apart of that group as well. Started as a Writer and advanced all the way up to Co-EP on Buffy. I don't know if he's as close as Goddard, DeKnight, et al though since Buffy was the only thing he worked on with Joss directly.

Fuck yes

Elektra, Bullseye, The Hand do it

DeKnight gone?

God that's a kick right in the balls...

Changing showrunners makes me think they'll be changing the tone slightly or kind of show this is next season. Maybe more lawyering or more mystical stuff?

And portraying Whedon as though he is walking out on Marvel is pretty inaccurate.

He's leaving once his contract is up. He's walking. I also, already, mentioned he seems to still be on good terms. I also, in the post you're quoting, said that this could all be coincidence, or just plain ol' business as usual, and then in another post made before your response, admitted maybe I'm just on that particular track due to having a conversation about this sorta shit in another thread.

Awww no DeKnight. Still hyped though. He seemed to have a decent amount of stuff laid out for S2 already and I assume he'll pass those notes along. Glad to hear the new runners worked on the first season.

Now that's hype news.

So after Age of Ultron, we have:
Ant-Man
Civil War
Doctor Strange
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
MCU Spider-Man
Thor: Ragnarok
Infinity War Part 1
Black Panther
Captain Marvel
Infinity War Part 2
Inhumans

Daredevil Season 2
A.K.A. Jessica Jones
Luke Cage
The immortal Iron First
Defenders
Agents of SHIELD spin-off with Mockingbird.
Possibly Agents of SHIELD Season 3

Mahval Babee!

Also Mystery MCU TV Show developed by John Ridley

Let me expand, I guess. He was thrown into a very volatile situation very quickly with very little lead time and a very stressful and small post-production timeframe.
Not to mention that he basically had to reframe/change/amend/another adjective a lot of Goddard's ideas into something that he could use.
And then there's the Marvel of it all, who can't really be easy to work with, which is one of their strengths/weaknesses.

Not necessarily an ideal work environment, even compared to Spartacus. I could see that if you had a one season contract, how you might want to hit pause.

Guardians of the Galaxy was the Marvel movie I waited all MCU for, but this era is easily the most exciting from Marvel because of Daredevil and Civil War. DD season 2, Iron Fist, Black Panther, and Spidey all upcoming. I'm extremely excited right now.

Gotcha, especially w/ S2 having a relatively quick turnaround.

Did not realize things were that bad- I suspect they'll try pretty hard to keep him onboard for future projects because he nailed this one.

Given how fast DD season 2 seems to be put together, I guess he felt as if he were in the same situation. I can still see him coming for back for another Marvel show where he has more time and control.

Wow, thought they were going to do a season of each then the team-up season then repeat. We can potentially get a season a year for all 5 of these shows if they are successful. That is nuts.

forgive me for the ignorance, what does it mean that "showrunners" have changed? different directors? screenwriters? producers? i'm guessing the cast is unaffected?

Hope they keep the tone of the first season and the final 10 or so minutes aren't an indication of what's to come, because that shit was sticking out like a sore thumb.

And that suit... clicked the Link and I still can't take it. Especially compared to the greatness that was his black costume. Not sure if the new costume is bad per se, but it certainly doesn't suit the actor right now, which might be the bigger problem.
