I don't think that's going on.
Yeah, aside from saying it could also be coincidence or just business as usual, I already addressed that upthread after a couple other responses.

Who are Daredevil's other villains?

DeKnight is part of Whedon's crew, right? Goddard is too - he bounced and there was a little ill-will there, but he didn't exactly handle his bailing on Daredevil all that well. Whedon's in the process of walking right now. I wonder if there's something to all of this, or if it's just coincidence, or just business as usual.
Give the guy a break he's blind.
Really bummed that DeKnight is not helming it. I can only hope that they want him to run Iron Fist.
Goddard bounced after writing the first few else and setting up the series structure. He was gonna do Sinister Six
That's a nice way to putting it![]()
And portraying Whedon as though he is walking out on Marvel is pretty inaccurate.
My superpowers are politically correct statements!
I heard he did the job he was contracted to do, but doesn't really want to do another Marvel show.

Sweet, thank you.Merged you all into one super-thread and tweaked the title. If there are any issues, send me a PM.
Yeah, he's been buzzing with energy. Even mentioned that he would love to do Punisher.Just seems strange, considering how gung ho about it all he's been the past few weeks in interviews and on twitter. He's been really interactive with the fans.
lol, exactly.
Now that's hype news.
So after Age of Ultron, we have:
Ant-Man
Civil War
Doctor Strange
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
MCU Spider-Man
Thor: Ragnarok
Infinity War Part 1
Black Panther
Captain Marvel
Infinity War Part 2
Inhumans
Daredevil Season 2
A.K.A. Jessica Jones
Luke Cage
The immortal Iron First
Defenders
Agents of SHIELD spin-off with Mockingbird.
Possibly Agents of SHIELD Season 3
Mahval Babee!

Also, can Marvel shell out for some plugs for Charlie Cox?
I'm sure they will, but hope all the actors return for the new season. Would be weird with new faces.
NooooooI heard he did the job he was contracted to do, but doesn't really want to do another Marvel show.
Noooooo![]()
Gotcha, especially w/ S2 having a relatively quick turnaround.Let me expand, I guess. He was thrown into a very volatile situation very quickly with very little lead time and a very stressful and small post-production timeframe. And then there's the Marvel of it all, who can't really be easy to work with, which is one of their strengths/weaknesses.Not to mention that he basically had to reframe/change/amend/another adjective a lot of Goddard's ideas into something that he could use.
Not necessarily an ideal work environment, even compared to Spartacus. I could see that if you had a one season contract, how you might want to hit pause.
Given how fast DD season 2 seems to be put together, I guess he felt as if he were in the same situation. I can still see him coming for back for another Marvel show where he has more time and control.Let me expand, I guess. they desperately need to hire some female writers
Because he has been promised the series he really wants: Punisher.Just seems strange, considering how gung ho about it all he's been the past few weeks in interviews and on twitter. He's been really interactive with the fans.
