My CE FINALLY arrived tomorrow.
I wonder if I should keep the game sealed (I need to put the map on a frame) and play it on PC instead ;___;
This wouldn't happened if I know that my local store have some CE copies.

To carry one from the last thread:
It's going to be that way because of you, and everyone who thinks like you. Enioy your havelmage souls, I guess.

I'm afraid From's reaction will just be a havels nerf, rather than implementing actual level restrictions
Well I don't see how as soul memory is the metric for co-op it really matters what level you are. If it's really that much of an issue to you stop leveling at 150.

It's not like there's not giant dads in dark souls so Havel mages are the same as that really. People are going to gravitate to what is best.

There aren't giant dads in Dark Souls anymore. There's a build where you can do that, but it sucks now.

And I don't give a fuck if individual people go to level 9000. It's when they go and make posts on reddit and neogaf about how it's "pointless" to keep themselves at 150 that the damage is done. At the end of the day it's From's fault for implementing a stupid system, but it would at least be mitigated a bit if more people had the foresight to know that promoting leveling to your hearts content is gonna gradually make PvP stupider and stupider.

Hah, OP used the best suggestion.

Anyway killed L
icia by invading her. Easy fight. Btw, I checked with Cromwell and he said I didn't sin. Interesting.

If anyone doesn't get the OT title it basically references the bs you have to go through to level up each time. AAAAA

So for a person who's been waiting for the PC version and not reading anything, can someone tell me the consensus on the value or lack thereof of Adaptability? I like to play a highly mobile Dexterity type build so that stat is a wrench in my plan. I dunno if I should treat it as equally/lesser or greater importance.

Exists in a perpetual state of Quantum Crotch Uncertainty.
I usually let the Emerald Herald say her full spiel. Feels like the least I can do, on account of reciting it's about the only thing she's got to distract herself from the fact that she's stranded indefinitely in a town with an ever-growing population of nutters. And a cat.

But mostly nutters.

Ok i've got a good PvP tale. So I'm putting in work for the Brotherhood of Blood invading people in the Forest of Fallen Giants (seems to be a good hotspot). I'm on a good killstreak and then I start getting the dreaded "unable to find a world to invade" message. Maybe I killed all the available players? So i'm just wasting time and i see a red soapstone sign. Screw it, let's have a duel with a fellow BoB player! As soon as I start summoning the other BoB for a duel, i get INVADED BY A BLUE SENTINEL.

I'm start getting excited, I love being invaded! So i use a silver talisman to transform into a barrel and hide on the second floor of the bonfire room amongst the other barrels. My plan is for the blue invader and the red summon to go at it! While I'm chilling as a barrel, i see the blue invader run past me with a lightning buffed Defender's sword. Then he runs back downstairs and passes me again lol :) Now, I hear spells going off. Someone used chaos firestorm. A minute or so passes and I get the message that my fellow BoB rekt the blue sentinal lol!!! I'm giggling... even if I die, it was still worth it.

I jump out of hiding and prepare to face the fellow red in a fair duel. We both buff our weapons and bow. I am able to catch the guy on a roll and blackstab him for 2000+ damage for a OHK lol. A bit of a surprise, but I will take it. After our fight, the guy messages me back "explosive entrance". I thanked him for the duel and told him that Blue Sents should never fuck with the BoB. Love this game :)

Hey Gaf,

Been playing DSII and have been loving it thus far; however, I'm rather skeptical of how I've been leveling my attributes. Was hoping I could get some feedback to make sure I'm on the right track.

My Soul Level is 110. I wear heavy armor (Drangleic), Tower Shiled +8, and Fire Lonsword +10.

My ring set is: Chloranthy, Royal Soldier's Ring, Ring of Binding, and Flame Quartz Ring (This one alternates depending on the resistance I need).

Attributes:

VGR - 8 END - 20 VIT - 25 ATN - 5 STR - 50 DEX - 40 ADP - 5 INT - 5 FTH - 5

Play Time: 72 hrs - PS: I haven't used a single spell, mainly because I was wanted to get a pure melee play through.

Anyways, feedback is appreciated since this is the farthest I have ever gotten in any Demon / Dark Souls Game.

Thanks!

C'mon when the sun sets in Majula she gets a lot of people trying her rear. She's busy.

You are all right...ADP - agility boost stops at 38, so two points there you can respec, diminishing returns on thedex at 40 but you will be able to dual wield better as a result of the extra...you may want to raise str for a while to dual wield more weapons. Dual wield requirements are 1.5 the stat requirement. explained in this video.

oops read it wrong..you got lots of STR and 40 dex. so disregard.

So you acknowledge it's not our fault it's designed like so PvP will most likely go that way. Irrespective of what you feel about it is likely to happen.
