Well, if you're two shotting them and you're fine with it, then keep going, there's some nice loot around there anyway, like the cursebite ring! I just know I had a lot of trouble with that area when I was at that point in the game. Be prepared to give up one humanity to the curse removal guy to get your curse removed.

Where does the event of the Fire Keeper is activated after

Right before the boss room in Anor Londo. A big message will come up on the screen when the item is ready to be activated, you can't miss it.

What kinds of things usually kill you? Bosses? Traps?

Anything. A default common enemy can kill you. Example, I got sidehit by the tip of a blade, kinda half-stunning me, another one combo'd me with two more hits. End of my life. So this means that even if you only made one mistake it means death.

Now i make sure to use the sprint+jump when i'm trying to run past them.

You have to take a different route up to the roof. Go up to the cliffside ledge around the building, and find a spot from there that you can roll/jump onto the building from.

You did? When I was there last none of the levers did anything... they all said "contraption does not move."
I think New Londo is where I need to head next for the story anyway so I'll be heading there tomorrow.

watching dsp's playthrough is way to much fun to watch. dude is fighting for ~4 hrs without the lock-on system, doesn't know how to level up, no clue about humanity and he demands a checkpoint system.

i love playing this game but i also love seeing people also failing at this game. it is simple fun

I may be wrong, but from reading the comments it seems that he's absolutely serious.

The guy spends the whole fight trying the same tactics over and over when they are obviously not working. By the end of that video my goldfish was screaming "Don't try to roll in that heavy armor!"

Came from work very tired yesterday; I didn't have it in me to play, I put the game anyway, try to farm some souls and accidentally killed the dragon that gives the drake sword, went to the capra demon door and helped a guy with his fight, after that went to the depts and got owned by the stupid butcher, my fucking mistake, I got desperate and he killed me, then went to sleep.

Didn't advance at all, next monday is a holyday here and I already got vacations for friday, let's see if I can catch up

You get an item for that after defeating the boss in Anor Londo. It lets you teleport to the bonfires with a Firekeeper, so not all bonfires.

This game is nothing like memorizing patterns in a 2D shooter as the AI will branch off depending on what you do.

It's not our fault everyone killed that guy. He looks like an enemy, and not only that, I walked all the way up to the guy wondering "why the hell can't I target him?!" and no "talk" thing appeared at the bottom of the screen. Then I pressed R2 and he started screaming at me and I was like "Oh, fuck..."

When you go all the way down hug the wall to your right, its in a tunnel, very close to the shortcut area to Valley of Drakes and the boss.
