David Cage hires famous Hollywood talent for next PS3 game

Well Cage admitted the other day that they basically did everything wrong with Heavy Rain. I doubt this game will be good but at least they know what the problems are.

I saw that interview, I thought it was really nice of him admitting.

I think they have the potential to do great, adult games. Indigo Prophecy was a really good game, Heavy Rain was a step down.

Lets hope their voice performances are better than the ones that were allowed to pass in Heavy Rain.

The bar is set that low that anything would be better.

If he can rock out at 90, I would love to see him act in a video game.

FUCK YEAH, Lee said that person has to try everything in his life [exept porn]. :D If they approached him for high profile videogame work, im sure that he will agree.

I agree but the thing is they shouldn't be aiming to make 'adult' games they should surely be aiming to make a good game?

Heavy Rain had all the subtly of a 14yr writing his first script. It was an utter mess. Nice of Cage to admit after how long that he thinks the same.

I enjoyed the game but not in it's intended form it was basically a comedy game. I laughed at each silly scenario it threw at the characters. 'The Taxidermist' DLC was better than the entirety of Heavy Rain it held a serious tone that the main game failed to do in any scene not featuring Shelby.

Christopher Lee

I think contracting Christopher Lee to act in a video game that's made using performance capture technology would be somewhat of a waste.

In the last there films I've seen him in, he was either lying in a bed or perched on a stool for the entirety of his performance.

If he goes to the trouble of hiring some famous actors for millions of dollars, but still doesn't spend a cent on writers...

E3 2012: Cage to reveal Beyond at Sony presser

Quantic DreamÂ’s next game after Heavy Rain will be called Beyond, MCV understands.

It is expected that studio boss David Cage will take to the stage at SonyÂ’s E3 press event tomorrow morning (2am UK time) to debut the title.

As with Heavy Rain, it will be narrative based and use motion-captured actors to give a sense of real-world immersion. What we also know is that the game will be a Sony exclusive.
