Dead or Alive 5 - New Screenshots

Of the ones posted so far I like the +2 on block one best, the title really should emphasize this is a more serious effort.

Another suggestion is "Akira Yuki approved".

I'm disappointed that after people got so agitated this past year over DOA's reputation we're still getting titles having to do with tits/sexuality.

It's a part of the series, the games characters are pure eye candy, the agitation comes from people saying that's all there is to it. Not a single person in the world unless they have some issues in some way would deny this.

Pretty much. I find it acceptable given the context. If this was Persona or something, I'd flip out, but with DOA I'm just like "Haha, you so crazy, Team Ninja.".

I know it's a part of it but why would we lead the conversation off with it when we're trying to convey to people how things have changed this time around in terms of gameplay?

I don't think people care that much. Nobody is going to think "A serious name? This game is probably awesome!".

I think that one is pretty funny. Funny is better than what some of them have going on.

But they might say before clicking "See? Even the people who play this know it's just about tits". At the end of the day, don't complain when other people harp on one facet of the game when that's the first thing you bring up.

Sidesteps matter more now, bounce in your step has nothing to do with tits unless you think of it as it's an actual phrase.

Who the fuck is crying? I pointed out the fact that *you guys* cry when other people bring up tits when you do the same yourselves.

Complaining about complaining. There is a major difference in joking about something and talking about it and saying OMG ALL THE GAME IS TITS AND NO GAMEPLAY LOLOL. I'm sorry you can't tell the difference

Actually most people get irritated when other make basless accusations about a series they've never played. Poking fun of tits in a humorous OT is quite different.

If you don't want a conversation to go a particular direction, don't lead it in that direction. I'm sorry such a simple premise is impossible for you to grasp.
 
A lot of OTs have Funny titles. Its called humor. If the humor affects you and distracts you from such checking the OT which besides the title has nothing as funny quirky and actually informative you are welcome to enter the thread you are as welcome to not enter. People here are not offended and they have suggested the title. Its funny and even with the changes and if I tried giving it a "serious" name people would still come in and talk about boobs and visuals.

Is it immature? Maybe or maybe not. But if people like it I won't complain I can get the humor out of the title. I can assure you while the OT might have minor Fanservice (2 simple pics of the preorder bikinis from Amazon and gamestop and trailers) the rest is pretty straight forward focused on the game.

Hope to see you around the OT and not let a simple title affect the interest you might have in playing the game or playing with the people around here.

Well I havent thought of that besides having the google groups.
PM me and I'll add the lobby info on the OT if people are interested.

If anyone has any ideas or concernts to be discussed about the OT I'm more willing to talk with you guys I'm trying to do the best I can on making the OT as good as possible for your enjoyment.



BTW TTT 2 vs DOA5 keep it for a Garbage Thread but do not flood up the OT with that trash please.

You can always play a few of quick matches that is a beauty in fighters that you can play different amounts of time and still enjoy. :)
