I don't consider anything in DoA to be hard at all. You can even wave dash similar to the way Kaz can in SxT by simply doing QCFs, or do back dash cancels using qcb. There's nothing comparable to those things in either game. It's very difficult to tell a mid level player from a high level player in DoA (imo). In other games it's almost immediately apparent through movement.
But it's possible DoA5 will introduce some of these techniques.
LMAO. I'd of paid good money to get that suit on the girls in DOAXBV/2. Thing is relationship poison for any of them.
Also Helena looks a bit... off... in those OP pictures. I think it's her legs and the outfit that is throwing me for a loop since she's a lot thinner in the DOA2-4/"real doll" era.
They should milk that DLC.

People whining about the winning Title. I made a one last poll and I'm a Fighter won. This is the last time I make polls for OT Titles.
Well she has the right to be salty.Afterall she was abandoned by her mother and Princess Kasumi had tons of priorities to people while Ayane was left in the shadows as the bastard child. Also add the fighting for Hayate's Attention. She has grown salty over things but things should be getting better unless the clan still wants Kasumi's Head which doesnt seem to be the case since in the Opening Declaration trailer you can see them together. So Hopefully less salty.
You'd think they let Kasumi back in after all the shit that has happened and the leader (Hayate is the leader now right?) and the famed Ryu still aiding Kasumi.
That DOATEC trailer confuses me though. Why is
Helena with DOATEC still when she knows whats up? Why stay loyal to Donovan?

lol. Yeah, that's true. As long as there isn't a huge gap in the number of costumes for guys and girls this time. I remember in Ultimate, Kasumi and Ayane got 20 or so each, and most guys got about 6. But in the end, as long as the gameplay is good I don't really mind. I always end up sticking to one costume anyway.Only for the guys. Team Ninja has no problem dreaming up clothes for the female cast
Wouldn't mind if most are just returning costumes.
But Donovan is the shadow leader and makes all of the decisions and is responsible for all of the atrocities DOATEC is known for. Unless this new DOATEC is 100% Helena's now though.
Why are you spoiler tagging this?
Helena has taken over control of DOATEC and is doing what she wants with it. Donovan, Lisa and Christie are a splinter group.

Aside from the DOATEC stuff, the story is basically that everyone (including his two half-blood sisters and his one adoptive sister) wants to bang Hayate.
Hayate is Sasuke.
Just a nice thing to do.
Also, cool. Confused me a bit.
For a fighter, thought it was ok. But I played Dimensions which had like one super long story mode covering all the DOA games.
Kasumi isn't his half blood sister. That's Ayane. Kasumi and Hayate are full blooded siblings.
Yeeeah, that sounds kind of lame. Luckily it's the gameplay that will be making me buy the game.
Who get fighters for story?
I bought CS and Blazblue EXTEND solely for the newer story modes. I don't think I ever played them online as much as AH3 and SSF4.
Have you played Persona 4 Arena?
I couldn't get into BlazBlue. Then again everyone says that game is not for everyone.

Well first off, it's the best 2D fighter I've played in while. Second, check it out if you haven't (the OT is very lively). Thirdly, I believe it has the most fleshed out, deepest story mode in a fighter. The story mode is about 30 hours long, with superb voicework, and writing arguably on par or better than the writing in the RPG series it's from.
Many P4 nuts I know bought P4A due to the story mode alone.

As far as movement not really, Ayane has back dash cancels so that's unique to her.
In DOA4 holds did a varying degree of damage, on the first few frames it did maximum damage and the later ones it did less. Some characters have hit into throws that have a really short input window. Some throws like Hayate's Raijin are incredibly difficult to do, itagaki added it in to prove that they could make difficult commands ironically. In DOA4 learning how to properly force tech, you had to hit them as soon as their body landed on the ground. Some characters like Bayman and Leifang had advanced holds that did a lot of damage but required 2 directional inputs for either kick or punch depending on the height. Super launchers and slopes require you to be able to adjust your combo and timing signifigantly.
Overall though DOA is easily the most leniant 3D fighter on the market.
As an avid Persona fan, I disagree with this wholeheartedly. The story is a complete joke next to any of the RPGs.
I never said the story is better than the mainline games. I said the writing and voicework are top notch stuff.
And no, it's not a complete joke next to P4's story. It is an extension of it, and is paving the way to P5.

Wait till you see the Award Winning Story Mode for DOA5. The Drama, the action the excitement will be through the roof!

I am almost certain that whilst the actual story will be terrible, the presentation will be miles better than Persona's. Mostly because it won't presumably won't repeat itself constantly or devote large amounts of time to text-only monologues about a smashed lunch box.
In one of Yukiko's scenes I actually fell asleep watching it (It was late, but even so).

If they handle the story similar to how they handled Dimensions it can be campy in areas and redeem the crappy plot with lols. Either that or tons of pretty action.
I was going to use it as I said I'm not the biggest fan but I would have follow what happens here. People whined about the winner gave the option to change people accepted and no one declined I did it. As I said this is the last time I use polls since there will always be salty people with the decisions.

And honestly, it was just nice to see all these characters I've liked for years interacting. Things like the tag match with Gen Fu and Eliot were pretty cool. It also didn't mention smashed lunch boxes even once.
In fact, I hope it's just like Dimensions. If we get another five hour story mode structured just like that, I will be extremely happy.

Yeah, the current one picked is really damn awful, though. The worst OT titles are the boring ones, which this one is.
It doesn't really matter as long as it gets attention, though. What's done is done.

I said I stopped caring already, I was just explaining why it wasn't being used, some people don't want anything female body related in the OT about a game who's modelers heavily focus on the female body. A few people are scared that will invite trolls who will just say the game is all about tits and what not and no real discussion will happen and so on and so on.
Yes it's I'm a Fighter. And yes the Aerosmith one would of been the worst.
