WTF? BLASPHEMER! You NEVER get tired of killing, shooting, and blowing off a Ganados' head to get to the cuddly Stage 3 Plaga inside.Rhazer Fusion said:Come one guys, this is a nice, relaxing game. A nice departure from killing and shooting.

typo said:You know, after a game like Ninja Gaiden, I don't know how Team Ninja can look themselves in the mirror and make a game like DOAX2.

You're just getting confused with the fact that one is worthwhile to play, the other isn't.

This will have an English dub available, as mentioned in another thread on the game. I'm sure the JP dub will be in, too, as is always the case with DOA.The Frankman said:If this game ever got English dubbed, I'd LMAO at all the impending hate from the insane dubhaters/gamers, then LMAO again when they post that their lives have no meaning because Kasumi doesn't sound the same anymore.
Fusebox said:Screw that, there had better be outfits in DOAX2 that make the Venus look like a nuns habit.
BenT said:I'm all for fapping to fake women, but damn, they really do look like Barbies. Their feet are teh worst. In fact, Ayane's gonna need a bit of cosmetic surgery:
Sweet. I actually was imagining the deaths involved in the First Wave. As a vet I can say them battles get pretty tough. As long as the English sounds good I have no problem towards the game, not like the voices will be something the people care about anyway.jiji said:This will have an English dub available, as mentioned in another thread on the game. DOAX is all about the relaxing experience. It even lets sub fans and dub fans get along. <3
The Frankman said:Does anyone find it a bit suprising that the hack volleyball engine isn't being picked apart yet here (Hello, Beach Strikers)?
It got plenty of negative attention back around the first game's release, but I think it's sort of faded into the background, as there's no "volleyball" in the new game's title. I always thought it was going for a different goal than Beach Spikers was, so it never bothered me...but as they're planning to have it fleshed-out more for the sequel, more power to them. The Frankman said:Does anyone find it a bit suprising that the hack volleyball engine isn't being picked apart yet here (Hello, Beach Strikers)?

Stereotyped black girl has Michael Jordan ups (wait, I forgot her EXACT nationality).
bluemax said:The skin seems so untextured, but that's just me.
"Jordan ups" are that ridiculous hangtime than only Michael Jeffrey Jordan aka Black Jesus aka The Most Hated Man Ever to Knicks Fans can attain. In mangas and a few Japanese anime the black guy who plays basketball usually gets saddled with it.Fusebox said:I dont get it.
What are Jordan ups?
Bad wording on me. She isn't (that goes to Bass Armstrong); but I was illustrating that in the pic since she's jumping at what appears to be a ridiculous height thanks to deceptive camera angle, it must be another case of a stereotyped Black person. And why is she a stereotype?
jiji said:So have we covered all the points necessary for a good and proper DOAX thread?
- they're not real girls
- lol japanophiles/lol lonely gamers
- eww, tanlines
- not a serious game? worthless
- where is ninja gaiden 2 hurrrrrrrrrr
beat said:I thought next-gen was where the top-tier Japanese devs would finally embrace custom shaders. But to my untrained eyes, the skin rendering isn't noticeably better than the Dreamcast days of DOA2. (Yes, the models are higher poly and the hair moves nicer and DOAX 1 introduced smooth skinning over the tricky clavicle/shoulder and wrist joints, yay and DOAX2 has self-shadowing)
Both companies are quite polarizingOrodreth said::lol happens with Rare related threads also
qcf x2 said:The graphics are awesome, CG-quality. I can't help but think the engine would work well for an original type of game. Like Lord of the Flies or something. I'm not gonna judge those who like this kind of "game" but it's hard to argue that it's pretty much a visual showpiece.
PepsimanVsJoe said:Looks good as usual.
Why people continue to hate on the best game of 2006(that is not PSU nor FFXII nor GoW) is totally beyond me.
Rhazer Fusion said:Looks good. I loved the first game, so I am looking forward to this one. Looks like there is ALOT more to it this time. Come one guys, this is a nice, relaxing game. A nice departure from killing and shooting.
Kolgar said:Totally. The girls are cute, they do silly girly things to silly girly music, and it's just a fun, relaxing experience that's even good for a few laughs.
I actually found the volleyball engine to be the best and most fun of last gen - played it for hours. With all the extra stuff that's going into this sequel, I'm definitely interested in going another round with the girls of DOA.
because Itagaki doesn't want to give his characters skin textures. maybe he's excessively afraid of the uncanny valley, but plasticy looking characters is what Team Ninja do, and not just because they can't do anything else.metdroid said:Why have Dead or Alive graphics not improved since the 90s?
