Frank West is back and in cracking form, as today Microsoft and Capcom Vancouver revealed the new gameplay trailer for Dead Rising 4. Titled “Return to the Mall,” the trailer brings fans back to Willamette Mall, where a recon mission quickly goes awry. From cleaving through zombies in the food court to pausing for a few creative selfies, Willamette Mall is a key piece in Frank’s search for the truth behind a government conspiracy responsible for the outbreak. Check out the action for yourself in the video above!

Dead Rising 4 marks an all new chapter of one of the most popular zombie game franchises of all time. All the classic hallmarks of the ground breaking zombie series return, including a huge array of weapons and vehicles players can combine to combat the horde ranging from the practical – to the practically insane. Next gen Frank. There's hardly any swearing in all of DR1. Honestly, I think the only F-bomb that game had is if you let Gone Guru run long enough to get the part of the song where they drop one.

Yeah, It's a joke. I love playing DR1 on PC and it feels so different due to the timer. However, I'll accept this game for what it is and get it on sale on Steam.

DR2 was far closer to DR1 than 3 and this one inevitably will be.

DR3 Nightmare mode was very good. Great, even, though still a step down from the original difficulty-wise. I don't know how Normal DR3 was, internet reception says it wasn't great.

If this game comes out without some optional modes to better satisfy fans of the prior games, I'll be baffled.
