Dear March: F*** you.

Topic title is perfect and I can't stop :lol . Fuck March indeed. Fuck it up it's stupid ass. God damn me for getting rid of my PS2 and for not speaking Japanese. Hopefully by the time the American release of Ashe's Ass XII comes out, I'm living with my future roommate, w/PS2.

My list is basically all Oblivion about three dozen times with a few titles included for bonus points (if I have time between quests):

Tetris DS
CCC Remixed
Daxter
Super PP
Ys
Generation of Chaos

All handheld games. Bizarre.

Well, it'll be about 2-4 weeks before I'll be able to play it depending on how fast he goes. It'll be a good break though since I'm starting Berwick Saga this week and that's just gonna rip me to shreds.

I actually really want to hear your thoughts on Berwick. I've still never found a free two-three weeks to burn through it so I've just done the first two missions. I love the animation and would really like to get back to it eventually. Heck I bought Tearing Saga just to play afterwards if I do like it :P

I'm not a big fan of random luck, so let me know if good strategy is all that's needed to survive and keep all your party alive.

Oh and expect Berwick Saga impressions cause it will be teh RPG of 2005 >O

Dammit Bebpo, posted like 10 seconds faster than me.

Holy shit these companies don't learn. All right, I do appreciate that we now have more than one month of insane releases but I'm sure they can spread it beyond November and March.

I already ordered and paid Ys on PSP last year (thanks to Amazon.ca's pricing mistake) :lol

But I still have to buy TOCA3 this week, and then March is gonna be painful:

Ok, sounds good. We need as many impression angles as we can get from people who actually understand what's being said :)

You aren't looking forward to an in-depth story synopsis from me on FF12, Bebpo?! :)

That's all I'm getting in March; more than enough to satisfy.

Even if I made shit tons of money, I think I'd take a long look in the mirror if my game spending ever got this extreme. It'd take me a good half year to even beat all of those.

How do you guys find the time, and you do know that the games will still be for sale AFTER march right?

Many of us go through games fairly quickly. I usually go through a regular action game in about a week, an RPG in a week and a half, and fighting games and shooters are played during breaks, on the can, or between servings of dinner.

Those of us who desire to play all these games the minute they come out always find a way. :P

Definite:
Me and My Katamari
Kingdom Hearts 2
MGS3: Subsistence
Oblivion
Tetris ds

Maybe:
MGA2
Untold Legends 2
Outrun 2 psp
Burnout 360
Outfit
Dynasty Warriors 360
Blazing Angels
Metroid Hunters

2-28 - MLB '06 The Show - PS2
3-07 - Burnout Revenge - Xbox 360
3-07 - Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter - Xbox 360
3-13 - College Hoops 2K6 - Xbox 360
3-13 - The Outfit - Xbox 360
3-14 - Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance - PS2
3-15 - Battlefield 2: Modern Combat - Xbox 360
3-20 - Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Xbox 360
3-23 - Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII
3-28 - Kingdom Hearts 2 - PS2

All are paid off.

Most RPGs fall around 40 hours or so correct? Man, that's crazy. I guess I enjoy the sun too much. :lol

Sun? Wazzat?

That's probably true, I just want it for the 3rd person camera.

I want it because I'm a slave to the Metal Gear. Kojima could write "metal gear" on a paper bag of dog poo, and I'd probably think long and hard before deciding against it.

Yeah, it looks like it'll be fun a couple weeks, the gameplay doesn look engaging enough to play for a long time.

I agree.

If I'm going to go online, I'm going to go into something like GRAW or BF2:MC and try to get really good at it early on. It looks like they are going to have a big GAF following which should lead to some spectacular matches!

What I want:

GRAW (maybe)
IQ Mania
Me & My Katamari
MGS3: Subsistence LE (if I can get it)
beatmania (US)

There's a bunch more, but I've got to CONSERVE as best I can. :(

Though I'll be continuing my expedition through the past throughout March for:

(psx) FFVII
Valkyrie Profile Strategy Guide
(psx) Legend of Legaia

I will be picking up;

(ps2) Kingdom Hearts II + guide
(ps2) Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (Limited Edition)
(ps2) Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams

(psp) Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
(psp) Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code
(psp) Ys: The Ark of Napishtim
(psp) Pursuit Force
(psp) Samurai Warriors: State of War

I don't know where I'll get the moolah. lol

I'm only getting MGS3: Subsistence.....and if it weren't for the pre-order bonus I doubt I would even be getting that.

Why so much interest in (yet another) Onimusha game?

1) The demo alone obliterates the other three entries in the series. I mean, on every possible level imaginable. The demo is 10x deeper than the other games. The combat alone has taken a MAJOR steroids injection as far as options and abilities.

2) There is a TON of customization/RPG elements... I mean, insanely many.

3) Five fully playable characters that are quite different yet all quite polished (almost 150 weapons between them! which all play differently themselves).

It really is way way way different than the previous games, and in all ways this is a positive thing.

I was pretty interested in this before the demo... now I'm positively salivating.

There's a demo? o_o

Is this JP or NA? If NA, where is it?

Anyone not picking up Under Defeat should be severely punished. Such as being spanked with a wooden paddle.

You really could say the same thing for people who never picked up Border Down. :)

Looks like I'm making a beeline for the new OPM tomorrow. Shit damn, thanks for the heads up.

MLB: The Show (PSP)
MLB 2k6 (360)
Oblivion (360)
GRAW (360)

Those are the locks. I'm also considering:

The Outfit (360)
Battlefield: MC (360)
One of the PSP RPGs
Syphon Filter (PSP)
Tetris (DS)
Blazing Angels (360)

A few more will obviously come somewhere down the road (MGS3, etc.) Luckily I don't collect so I'll be trading in a lot of games toward these releases soon.

why the fuck would anyone buy metroid prime hunters?

Because we're not haters, Drinky. :D

My march:

Oblivion (PC)

Metroid Hunters (DS)

Tetris (DS) (online and only $20? count me in!)

I'd like Shadow Hearts: From the New World and Kingdom Hearts II, but Oblivion is my only must-have $50 purchase for march.

If I was a Nintendo fanboy, I still wouldn't buy it. It's hopelessly ugly, controls like ass, and plays like a mediocre FPS from 1997.

From what I've read, it's changed drastically since the Hunters demo that shipped with the DS.

Where will Tetris DS be $20?

I think the JP release is budget priced. The US price is still normal, though:(

Also, I'm getting a DSLite, and maybe Generation of Chaos for psp. Because you CARE TO KNOW.

ahh.. JP price? sucks.. my mistake.

In that case, I'll wait for it to be $20 before I buy it :lol

The FPS fan in me is saying to stay away, but the Metroid fan inside is saying to pick it up. I'm not expecting brilliance, since this is NST developing the game, but the single player story is supposed to be pretty expansive. I hope it is, because I doubt I'll touch the multiplayer mode for longer than 5 minutes.
