I would suggest not spending money on this. Definitely not unless you like really bad games for full price.

Note that a lot of those games are eidos/bandai. Also note that I mentioned "games coming in," as in for review. ;)

It will be Suikoden V and maybe (maybe not) Shadow Hearts: From the New World for me. Kingdom Hearts doesn't interest me, and I want to see how far I can stay engaged in Breath of Fire II before spending $30 on another GBA RPG.

March-The OutFit,Oblivion.
April-Tomb Raider Legends 360,MLB2K6360

4 games in 2 months, thats more than I usually buy so I'm set for awhile here.

is outrun march as well? that too then.

edit: and megaman powered up :(

and maybe pursuit force :( :(

the backlog grows apace

Didn't know Outrun is coming on March.

Megaman PowerUP
KHII
Suikoden V
Tetris DS

i'd buy onimusha 4, except that i still haven't opened my copy of onimusha 3, and can't open it until i've played onimusha 2. i don't want to play onimusha 2. :(

Onimusha 2 was a solid title when it came out, but now that Onimusha 3 is out, and 4 is coming, there's little to no reason to play it.

With all the threads about it you didn't know? :lol

am I the only one who wants The Tower SP?

Its like SimCity only you're building a skyscraper. You build each floor room by room, making sure there are residential condos, restaurants, boutiques while at the same time maintaining the people who run the maintenance crews. The GBA doesn't get too many of these types of games, and this one actually looks exceptional.

Isn't that... sim tower?

Oh man, it's already started for me.

Went to the game shop today and walked away with:

-Initial D Street Stage PSP (awesome conversion; I like it better than the PS2 port),
-Kinnikuman Muscle Generation PSP (AKI goodness on a portable; ROCKS)
-Gamble Con Fight PSP (The Con; seems okay, dunno if I'll keep it. I think they either replaced or altered a few characters with more Japanese-friendly ones, but I could be wrong)
-Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box PS2 (Nothing needs to be said!)
-Devil May Cry 3 SE (Had to go to FOUR stores to find this; everyone was sold out)

Just Kingdom Hearts 2 for me, maybe Far Cry Predator for 360 if I actually end up getting one but it's a complete crapshoot at this point.

Do remember all those people dying of hunger, cold, and preventable diseases like flu and malaria when you spend all that money.

360 (if i can find one)

GRAW
Oblivion
Burnout Revenge
Outfit
Battlefield

+

Car insurance (thats no game).

I'll be expecting the call from the credit card company informing me of 'increased and unusual activity" :'(

DSlite
Children of Mana DS
Ys Ark of Nephistim psp
Tales of Phantasia Advance (paid for)
Super Princess Peach DS
Daxter psp
Outrun 2 psp

Crap... that's too much.

Games I'll pick up in March:

PS2:

Shadow Hearts: From the New World (3/7)
beatmania (3/28, delayed again)

DS:

Tetris DS (3/20)

Everything else can wait.

Oblivion and GRAW are most wanted.

I may also get Blazing Angels. WTF? Just checked EB. Current gen 40 bucks. Next gen 60 bucks!!! ARG!!!

Thank goodness my birthday is in March. Depending on reviews, I'm looking to pick up Tales of Phantasia, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Tetris DS. I still haven't finished Sonic Rush, Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble, or Final Fantasy IV, though. Heck my copy of Metal Gear Solid 3 is still in its plastic. I just don't have time for all this.

This years spring list isn't nearly as bad for me as last year's was, and my current backlog is only two games, but after starting Gran Turismo 4 and getting a glimpse of the monumental task ahead of me, I have no idea if I'll be able to buy any of this before summer. :X

Ape Escape 3 - Out
Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix - 3/13
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - 3/14
Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires - 3/28
Bully - 4/3
Tomb Raider Legend - 4/11
Hitman: Blood Money - 5/16
Steambot Chronicles - 5/23

Also, while looking through the upcoming release list, Warship Gunner 2 caught my eye, and after a bit of research, I think I'm gonna have to hunt down a copy of Naval Ops: Warship Gunner. :X

Hey all

I'll be getting:

Ibara (PS2, JPN)
Generation of chaos (PSP, US)
Shadow Hearts: From the new world (PS2, US)
Under Defeat sega direct edition with OST and poster (DC, JPN)
MGS3 subsistence LE (PS2, US)
Guitar freaks and Drummania V (PS2, JPN)

Not too bad for me considering I've bought a crapload of games this month and last

I still need to finnish Dragon Quest VII, and I just got Grandia 3... I just don't seem to have the motivation to finnish long ass RPGs anymore. But I keep buying them!

Still playing Tourist Trophy :)

MGS3:S is my only definate purchase for march so far. Might pick up Katamari for PSP, but everytime I go to the game store and look at the PSP games, it's like the little devil and the angel on my shoulder... one says 'upgrade your firmare! you need some new PSP games!' and the other is like '333mHz dude... 333mHz.'

I forgot about GBA games, ToP and The Tower GET!

I'm eagerly buying this, just debating which store to get it from... probably yesasia.com

I'm up in the air on what to get outside of that, though...

How many of these are being released in PAL = :(.

Second that.
Animal crossing Wild World but I imported it in december. But I still need to catch up basically all PS2 games (recently bought one):
* God of War Platinum
* Kingdom Hearts I Platinum

and some DS stuff:
* Castlevania DoS
* M&L2
* Age of Empires DS (import I guess, can't really wait)

Please tell me you just said...

and I quote...

My list

Kingdom Hearts 2
MGS3:Subsitance
Onimusha 4

PSP
Daxter
Capcom Collections
Me and my Katamari
Naruto
mega man powered up

For sure:
Oblivion
GRAWWWW

maybe:
Outfit
Battlefield MC

Yeah, only 2-4 games but thats alot for me, I usually buy only maybe 5-8 games per year.

March should be really fun.

Metroid Prime Hunters x2
Tetris
Lost Magic

I'm buying MP: H twice because my friend in another message board I goto won a Mario Kart DS tournament so he gets MP: H from me for his prize.

While racing BF in Ridge Racer 6 last night, I pointed out all the games he could buy this week alone. I think he's now giving a bigger FU to March. :)

Fuck yea, Onimusha was pushed up to the 7th. That gives me more time with the game before MGS3 and Oblivion come out. I'm happy now. :D

March? More like the month of Meh.

I'm curious, what possible game genre do you play if you think March is meh?

I'm not beholden to any genre (although there are many I cannot stand), I play whatever interests me. Outside of FFXII getting translated and released in the US in record time, nothing meaningful to me is coming out anytime soon.

I just find that surprising. There's umpteen incredible games coming out in the next 2 months. To each their own I suppose.

That's where I differ with everyone, but whatever. On that same thought, I have never subscribed to the theory that one must play every last game that comes down the pipeline, not even every great game. There's only so much time and money, and this ain't a daggum crack addiction.

Yes, just minutes before passing out and going to sleep. I'm looking forward to a new XI game, considering Shift had previously said that the PS2 one was the last game in the series.

Knowing them, I'm sure they threw in some nice bonus stuff to make it a worthwhile purchase.
