The Spanish VA is very good, all the in-game text is in English, I guess they don't have a build of the game with other languages.

He might be more critical than other Sony-focused journos (or personalities?) - especially when it comes to first party stuff - but I still think he can be very soft on certain first party games. I wouldn't call him a fanboy since that implies to me that he eats up every piece of Sony PR which he absolutely doesn't do, but yeah, I would say he's closer to the brand than others

But who knows: maybe he doesn't just hype that stuff up and it really is fucking fantastic what he saw

It's the same scene and it is gameplay yes. It only shows one of the possible outcomes and cuts some parts out, so Colin saw a good chunk more (good ending vs. bad ending, investigating everything vs. nothing)

Dude!!!!! Colin literally tried to kill the PS NEO just a month or so ago. He's pretty even handed with Sony.

Then you don't know the guy at all. While he loves Playstation, he will still criticize and call out their games if it's not up to the standard. He doesn't like to sugarcoat it. If you watched his Podcast Beyond during his time at IGN, you will see. I think you confused him with Ryan Mcaffrey, who is a huge xbox fanboy and always defend xbox regardless.

He's gone on record many times saying that Beyond was massively disappointing for him, as it was for many others. So for him to be won over by Detroit actually means something.
