It's incredibly likely. Eidos/SE are going the full Steamworks.TrAcEr_x90 said:will this game have steam achievments on pc?

Don't say that. I was about to buy the game now. Will wait for the GOTY/Ultimate edition now...butsomuch said:

Can you clarify the pre-order situation? That is, can you tell us whether the pre-order content is accessible through other means, and what the main differences between each version (PC, 360, PS3) will be?Coyotegrey said:Eidos Montreal community manager Kyle Stallock here. and go tell the guy who came up with the idea to take the sharpie he wrote it down with and lodge it in his throat next time he feels like contributing to the project.FireFly said:Can you clarify the pre-order situation? Is this for sure? As in, everything will be included with the PC version without having to unlock or download anything? If so, I'm not so bothered... to be honest I completely forgot there was a console version. :lolZenith said:at least the PC version will have both packs unlocked.

Jesus christ...this might be the first CE of any game I've ever purchased.User33 said:Calm down everyone, there's a collector's edition as well:

if that's the case then their targeted audience are those 12-years old boys or trailers are highly misleading, which means either way they fail to provide an explanation what the game is about.Castor Krieg said:This won't work. They need to sell to MW crowd as well, all the 12-year olds will remember the sneaking trailer and refuse to buy the game. They need to advertise run&gun while at the same time giving clues and pointing to the fact sneaking and covert ops is there as well.
P.S. Hacking minigame is ace.

Nice to have you on this board anyway.Coyotegrey said:My apologies. I'm more of a lurker here. I'll do my best to fix this.

Welcome to Gaf? I mean what were you expecting from a bunch of passionate fanboys?CaLe said:Since when is this sort of language permitted on NeoGAF... ?
That should be in the game, full stop. Even if a single texture, which should be on the game, is a pre-order bonus, that isn't acceptable.CaLe said:Just because of 2 weapons and a mission..? Really....?
... Wow.

Their target audience is 18-35 year olds, the hardcore gaming wheelhouse, not 12 year olds.raphier said:if that's the case then their targeted audience are those 12-years old boys or trailers are highly misleading, which means either way they fail to provide an explanation what the game is about.
Higher resolution look at the art book.CaLe said:
It's great that the PC special edition is $60. I buy equally on PC and console, so I can pretend it's normal priceCaLe said:

Sounds like a reasonable deal. Hopefully it includes the full soundtrack.

That HUD looks different to the one shown in the videos. Though, in the videos at least, the ammo counter only 'attaches' to the gun when you start firing - otherwise it remains in the corner.Billychu said:http://kotaku.com/5702368/deus-ex-gallery/gallery/8
It looks like some weapons show the magazine count in the corner of the screen instead of floating next to the gun.
:lol
