Off a cliff, please.

Don't be so rude, guy.

Anyway, Team Ico was also my immediate choice after reading the title.
Also, Bioware, Bathesda and Gearbox.

When are we going to hear something from team ico? Someone throw out some conjecture. /thread hijack attempt

Bungie. I get this awesome feeling everytime I think about their next project.

Ico Team for all the promise that they entail and indie game maker Nifflas for his upcoming Night Game project.

A while ago I would have said RE5 team but latest pics make the game look a bit generic art wise. The game doesn't look nearly as promising/inventive/inspired, as the first pics from the final version of RE4 did.

Relic
Stardock
Those, mainly because Relic is doing a lot of new things for the oh so stagnant RTS genre. And Stardock because they're among the last of the hardcore PC developers (along with Bohemia Interactive and the like), and they've expressed interest in picking up the CRPG torch.

Also throw in Team ICO with that, for obvious reasons.

Naughty God, Capgod, Godnami

Wait, did I just go waaaaay overboard with that?

Ok, for real, Naughty Dog, Konami, Insomniac, Capcom, Polyphony Digital

Back in the day, I was known as the 56k bandit... I was the best player on RTCW still using 56k, bar none. When I finally got broadband, I almost didn't know how the compensate for the LACK of lag I was experiencing. I was so good at expecting the amount of delay lag would cause to my shots, that it was like starting at square one :lol

:lol that's pretty much my story. I got so used to the 56k I was really convinced everyone else was playing at that atrocious ping. Once I got BB back in 2002 I couldn't believe how they could play at such speed..thus I went panzern00b for a couple of months :lol

I never liked an RTS game until CoH. While their upcoming Warhammer game is probably going to be more of a "traditional" RTS, it looks like they are taking some key elements from CoH and the setting is cool. 2nd most anticipated title of 2009 after...

...Stardock's MoM-inspired turn-based strategy game. It has been too long. I just hope they don't push it back because of that lame looking Demigod title.

Enix + genius sonority (Finished Dragon Quest Swords Today:D , My this game is highly Underrated)

Monolith Software (Baten Kaitos + Xenosaga <3)

Nintendo (Ninrendo excites me when i'm not expecting anything and vice versa)

EDIT: Grasshopper (After NMH)

Konami
Now that MGS4 is done maybe they'll become more like Capcom as far as next-gen games go. I'd really love to hear what non-sports, non-rhythm games they have planned for PS3/360. It's really sad when I look at what they are now and what they used to be. Hopefully they'll return to form, Bayou Billy style.

Platinum Games (or whatever Seeds' new studio name is)

Godhand, Okami, Viewtiful Joe? Not one bad game thus far. They know how to make good games and they also realize the importance of style. Really anxious to see what they have planned for next-gen.

Level 5

The fact they are shifting focus to handhelds has me not as excited about them as I once was. I fear their next announced game after White Knight will be yet another portable IP. Still their console games get me excited so I look forward to hearing what else they've got planned for that.

Konami I love their stuff in general but the mix of stuff they came up for hd platforms vs Wii has me hella interested as a whole.

Capcom - they've been putting out a lot of quality that's tough to ignore bionic commando and SF4 are just too hard to ignore.

Nintendo - typically I'm no as they are secretive but typically you know what's up for the year on Wii no such thing.

Factor 5 - Talking big about their Wii project and I'm anxious to see how they will rectify their crowd after lair, then again their crowd typically sticks with them even through shit.

I'd say mroe but the thread developer and I'm 3 over the limit.

Unless their next project is a warthog racer, I'm not excited.

I want one, badly. :(

Team Ico
Insomniac
Remedy (Max Payne 1&2 are two of my favorite games and Alan Wake looks amazing)

Valve annoys the shit out of me with their delays, so I'm not putting them on the list.

edit: I'm sure if I had a 360 Epic and Bioware would be on this list.

Probably Team Ico. After ICO and Shadow of the Colossus my respect for this team has gone sky high.

Insomniac, Valve and Naughty Dog also deliver.

Team ICO hands down. They have created two of the finest games of the previous generation and one of those I regard as the greatest game ever made. Their art direction, story telling and music are amazing and their games have such an emotional impact that you won't find anywhere else in videogames. I'm looking forward to see what they have in store for us on the PS3.

Lionhead (f*** the haters, Fable 2 looks to innovate and they have another game in the works)
Capcom (retro remakes, RE5, etc. All over my face)
Rare (another f*** the haters! The Banjo unveil excites me more than anything else this year)
Retro (Can't wait to see what they do after MP)
Naughty Dog (Hopefully their next game will be something new, that'd excite me. F*** Kittonwy)
Team ICO (all over my face)
Remedy (solely on the basis of Alan Wake, and how much I loved Max Payne)

But mainly BUNGIE. Why? Because they're currently working on something new that isn't Halo. That's pretty exciting to me.

TellTale games!

I played Sam and Max season 1 all week-end and if their WiiWare episodic project is half
as good, I think they deserve more love.

Ridiculously excited for HL2: Episode 3, and pretty much anything Valve has in store.

2.

Always up for another Ensemble RTS, I've immensely enjoyed their other games.

No idea what they're doing next, but it ought to be good.

-Guerrilla Games are hot in my mind because of the awesome debut trailer. They're the ones most likely to fall off the list due to a disappointing showing at the next event they show up for, though.

-Insomniac Games. Look at the Resistance 2 feature-set. Do I have to say more? I will anyway: their podcast is one of my favorites to listen to, and the upcoming DLC for Ratchet is great support for a single-player-only game

-Media Molecule. Shame on anyone who has neglected them.

-Rockstar North
NINE DAYS

-Harmonix Keep rollin out the awesome DLC, and thanks for the free update with the In-Game-Store!

-Naughty Dog Why don't you hire up a second team like Insom? I want more games from you, more than anyone!

-Kojima Productions Although I'm a little disappointed you have hidden every bit of information about the game except that you're disappointed with hit :|

Taken off: Valve
. Unless you let the PS3 have Left4Dead. Then you're back on top. (I know, I'm bitter)

I'd put Sucker Punch on my list, but what do we know to be excited about so far? Besides that it's coming from a team with a history of quality, but that's not enough for me. I want infoz.

There's only one thing I know about Team Ico's new title, that it is going to be the game that sells me a PS3. If ICO and Shadow of the Collossus could be created in the last generation, I can't begin to imagine how mindblowing the new PS3 title is going to be. Visually, i'll bet it'll be the most beautiful game of the generation. Who knows what the gameplay will consist of.

I was thinking of the very same thing the moment I read the title of the thread.
