I'll never understand anyone who acts likes Diablo is some sort of super in-depth, complicated game that couldn't possibly play well on controller. The gameplay is about as simple as a game can be.

It's mostly mouse targeting mechanics that are at issue here. Blizzard found some decent compromises and Diablo 3 is awesome on a game pad.

To be honest, most builds relying on targeted skills were a pain to play on console, especially once you started doing rifts. I fully expect Blizzard to "solve" this problem in D4 by largely eliminating skills benefiting from precise targeting across all classes.

It's not really a remake, it's more like a huge update that adds a new graphical overlay. It's even compatible with your old saves.

God it's so good. So glad with how they captured the original. Gameplay is absolutely perfect and the graphics strike the perfect balance between modern but not losing the essence of the original. Can't wait to sink hundred of hours into this.

Diablo Immortal's closed beta introduces the Necromancer as a playable class, alongside a host of other changes, such as controller support, set items, Hell IV difficulty and loot that scales more with difficulty, eight player Helliquary raids, new Cycle of Strife updates called Challenge of the Immortal and The Final Battle, and a new Battleground ladder.
