Diablo IV |OT| Blessed Mother... Save Us

Got T115 with my DT Rogue but its squishy af. I get 1 shot by lots of stuff I just can't see, especially ground stuff, or those damn flying swords.
And not a single mythical charm yet.

I posted awhile back how after not playing for a couple of months then coming back Blizzard had boosted my level 20 necro all the way to lvl 50 with all legendary gear.

I'm on Eternal because I mostly play for the story with no real interest for the end game.

They basically ruined my necro because I instantly became an invincible killing machine 😄

So I rolled a new sorcerer instead but warlock looks really fun too 🤔

Haven't got round to playing much this season, but Holy shit at the new costs for rerolling affixes at the occultist. And the mats for the cube as well.

Overall though I think this season is pretty much close to perfect and not dick about with too much from here.

I'm enjoying it, but they've made it even more grindy when it comes to uniques. I'm up to over p200 and in t8 and still haven't had a single soulbrand drop that I need for my build and have had 4 total mythic uniques drop. I'd have been showered in both at t4 in the old days.

Yeah, occultist re rolling is last step now. There are some things you can try with the cube to get similar results if you make smart use of the focused and chaotic re rolls.

Sorry if you veterans already know but this was very useful to me returning after some time off.

Useful stuff like enabling sounds for specific loot and adding a compass arrow 🙂

What would be the path if you have a piece of kit with three of four affixes you need. But the fourth is in a different category (e.g. ot is fortify regeneration but you want armor). Is that occultist only now?

(e.g. ot is fortify regeneration but you want armor)

Remove affix + utility prism to remove fortify

Add affix + protection prism to possibly add armor

If it's not armor, focused reroll + protection prism until it's armor (note you can only do this if this is the only defensive affix on the gear)

You can transmute 3 of them, but I break them for mats to re roll the charms I need. Re rolling also changes its subtype without changing the main type.

What does this mean? I have charms at the moment, set of 3 but I need a different set (lights epiphany). How can I change the charms i have to the charms I want in the most efficient way?

1. You can put 3 charms and it will give you 1 random. I don't think you can select which one.
2. If you have 2 "BERÚ" charms of the same set, you can put one of them in the cube and use "Re-roll set charm". It will get you the same set, but random affixes and type i.e. it can become a "LINTA"

Ah ok I was thinking you could target the charm set you wanted.

Look at this ring of beauty that I crafted

I feel like I'm only scratching the surface of what the cube can do. I mainly use it to to combine 3 items and reroll with it and sanctify or whatever it is they call it now.
I never was huge fan of the cube in the previous games and mainly stick to the loot I get from running dungeons and bosses.

I absolutely loath unique items now. I unfortunately went with a build that needs 3 uniques to work properly and it feels laughably hard trying to get good rolls on these stupid items since you can't enchant them. I just keep putting 3 of them in the cube and it shits out another dud. Ah well, need to go with builds that use as few uniques as possible in the future.

I think getting a yellow greater then building it is so good. I dont really like what they have doen with uniques, but a step by step for most efficient use of the cube would be great

what are you targeting gem strength with?

What do you mean by targeting? The transfiguring results are random.

Or are you just transmog yoloing?

I started with an inventory of rings, and transfigured all of them until I got a ring that got gem strength and was still modifiable. Then I used the cube + occultist to get the affixes I want, then imprinted, socketed, masterworked, and tempered. Then, I transfigured again.

I thought gem strength might be utility so you could target with the add affix option.

I should have been 3 to 1ing all my obel spend instead of salvaging the items...damn it.

I don't think I ever got a gem strength or second transfigure attempt. This game hates me so much

Oh no, gem strength is overpowered as fuck, and the only way you can get it is if you get lucky by transfiguring.

I should have been 3 to 1ing all my obel spend instead of salvaging the items...damn it.

What I do is after I YOLO transfigure everything, I keep the ones that are still modifiable, and I 3 to 1 all of the unmodifiable ones and try again.

Warlock bleed bug is fixed. RIP damage.

Not seeing any Rogue balances so I still have my T11 fall back...Warlock-Eviscerate was a fun boss melter though!

Sorcerers can enchant skills? 😲
I added Meteor as a passive and it triggers quite often.
See how much of a noob I am? 😊

I feel like a child joining an adults conversation in this thread.

They are unfortunately really bad at surfacing some of the class unique systems in the UI. Wait until you realize you've played your barb for an entire season with the wrong arsenal selection.
