Diablo IV |OT| Blessed Mother... Save Us

Kind of bummed they just removed conduit shrines instead of making them worthwhile. Really gives the "screw it" vibe. Haha. But some quality changes. I'll definitely play this season, just not at release. Oblivion + Clair Obscur + Split Fiction I need to finish some of this first.

I reinstalled Diablo IV just to prepare for this. I'm not a big anime/manga fan or anything, especially nowadays. But man, if it's Berserk or Fist of the Northstar, I'm forever down and always will be lol.
 
I was thinking about doing this build too but didn't have time to test it among playing my other builds so I'm glad someone did it.

Quit season 7 fairly early, and I thought I'd be done with d4 but starting to miss it, so I will play this season. Didn't even know there was a collaboration and have no idea about or who it is with eiva, but it looks good anyway. The only thing not looking forward to is the grind for oducite to spend an entire day of farming and still not get even 1 bit of gear rolled perfect.

I just hit 2 masterwork and call it a day. Fuck trying for 3 perfect.

Yea shouldn't really care too much as if it's masterworked perfect for 2/3, well even less, the content is still easy unless pushing very high pits. Saying that I'll still go for perfect 3, I guess the problem is trying to get it as fast as possible when you really don't have to as you have months to do it.
 
I am probably not going to start this season for a week or two. I am deep into the Oblivion remaster right now.

What is the OP class/spec this season?
 
Played a bit last night, got to the first main town and got accustomed to the layout and finding where everything is, shops, blacksmith, ect.

Just going to take it super slow and don't plan on playing much until the berserk stuff drops. Looks like respec is free? That's nice, can try out different things on my barbarian.

I'd wait a couple of weeks, late changes after PTR always balance out a bit weird. But take anything from S and A now and they should be good for endgame.

Has anyone done the Raid? I'd be down for trying that one evening with folks from here

I figured I wouldn't jump back in until all the Berserk stuff is live. I haven't played it in SO long, it will probably feel more like a new game at this point, lol.

It's not much different than last season. Barb and Necro probably strongest. Spiritborn might be up there too. Lightning spear sorc going to be strong yet again.

Imma start with Rogue. Dance of Knives is too good of a leveling build.

I just wanted to at least open up access to most things so when the collab starts I can use it all right away lol

I am in a clan with two friends who I started playing with at release but they both stopped during season 6 and don't look to be coming back. Maybe time to jump ship to a real clan with actual people playing lol

To be honest though, the last few seasons only had like 3 or 4 of us playing for the first few weeks and then it was just me haha.
 
Reminder - for those of you starting with the campaign already completed - remember to assign your mercenary and your pet first thing.


Shit been playing too much WASD on PoE2 lol. I couldn't move properly for a sec.

Too bad WASD on D4 sucks.
 
I played all of S7 without a mercenary. Completely forgot about it. Build was S tier meta though so the mercenary was never actually needed.

I was going to use the battle pass token from buying the premium vessel of hatred expansion, but I cant see it anywhere. It used to sit next to the other purchase options.

The game seems to prefer to keep resolution and lessen enemies frame updates now? At least on PS5 Pro. I have yet to update on my desktop.

I dunno if that's just lag, felt like it.

I got to level 26 before tapping out for the night. Seems reliquaries are busted and I'm not really feeling the new incursion. Running round and avoiding all the mobs seems counter intuitive and just delays merc favour and season renown.

Also sorcs really need some low level love lmao. Again another season with necro and barb in the s tiers.

I'll still play through, bit concerned we don't have the 30% ashes xp bonus from kills as well.
 
At 53. Gonna take a break for a bit. It's...okay I guess lol. Most of the changes are for bossing, so since I'm not there yet I don't really notice anything different.
 
Lvl 60 with DoK Rogue. Will try T1 tomorrow as the seasonal quest needs it, but I belive I need to farm some defense first.
