Diablo IV |OT| Blessed Mother... Save Us

This is pretty effective for sparks. I can host a boosting party if you guys want to try this in a party.


I just upped my sorc gems to 46, but I won't be able to play until tomorrow, probably. Mythic RNG is not on my side this season. A starless skies would be good for both sorc and rogue, so I'm thinking of going the crafting route. I'm missing some runes so I might try the tributes.
 
So I made it to T1 yesterday after being on holiday and I'm hardly seeing any 800 powers dropping? Wtf, have they been nerfed

Also 'new boss mechanics' means can't hurt bosses for a bit then spam the floor with shit you can't see!!

I've sent an application to join the GAF's guild/clan (FjimDx) but do regions matter or? Because I'm in Europe.

So far done a couple of seasons, the longest I've done was sixth with the broken Spiritborn but I don't think I managed to gear it up to to do crazy pits like above 100. I'll try the broken Rogue now, let's see if I can stick with it.

I'm lvl 35 and still playing. Helltide is still here I see.

Got a Doombringer for the Rogue. Now I "only" need 4 Ohm runes to craft a Starless, or get a lucky drop.
For the Berserk currency, I noticed Nightmare Dungeons gets you a bunch of them.

Yeah for obducite alone NMD are pretty good, but I like doing IH because if you fight a lot of aether lords, it gives you a bunch of seasonal reputation.
 

Nice one as well. The one I'm using is a bit clunky to get momentum after I put Starless Skies, but it's a BIG damage boost after it clicks. Might try this one later.

  • Sayeena has become a vendor that sells Oath Scrolls in exchange for Spectral Ash. Oath Scrolls can be consumed to gain Unveiler's Oath reputation. Sayeena can be found near the Reputation Board in Tarsarak.
  • The following Boss Powers have been adjusted.
    • Sinerat's Flames: Increased Main Boss Power damage from 50% to 75%.
    • Hatred's Embrace's Haste: Modifier Boss Power no longer falls off when switching weapons.
  • The icon for Apparition Incursions has been adjusted to be more easily visible.
  • Betraying eyes now spawn more consistently near the Apparition Boss.
  • Another objective has been added to better communicate that season's reputation can be acquired from both the Apparition Incursion event and defeating any boss across Sanctuary.

Miscellaneous

  • Having player names read aloud by the Screen Reader is now a toggleable option. This feature can be found under Accessibility Settings.

I need to farm living steel and distilled fear. Need ancestral fists of fate from Beast and Axial Conduit from Grigoire. Any ideas on quickest ways to farm? Or if anyone comes across a set while farming would be appreciated.

Speaking of which I've applied to the clan again. It resets every season for me for some reason - does it happen to everyone else?

Grigoire I believe Helltide chests are good. I'm not sure about the fear, though. Whispers, I guess?
edit: I have one GA atk spd Fost of fate if you want. 265% unique effect, 8.3 crit chance... 3.8 lucky hit lol

Dumb question: do you have to start a new seasonal character to access all of the seasonal quests and bosses? Or is it all on eternal realm now, too?
 
Seasonal quest and boss power stuff is only for seasonal characters. Eternal should have the boss fight changes tho.
Thanks - I wasnt sure cos there was no pop up on the login screen like before. And Belial is there on the map so I thought that was it.

Yeah it's proper annoying!

I'll be on in 20 mins. I need the mats more tbh. Running undercity with Tributes etc but getting nothing. I get 3 runs at each boss lol in T2

Steel and fear for those drops
 
Np, omegasc omegasc got my glyphs a nice boost tp Legendary until I ran out of diamond dust.

I did get an Axial drop as well but the stats aren't great. Slow progress but progress. Need the crown from duriel next, then mythic shako etc
Gem dust is a pain, especially if you're leveling more than one char. Hordes is probably a good farming place.

1) They are charging 30% for the Berserk items than they are worth to me.
2) Running this on a 9070XT card is complete garbage. I have to run this in 1080p window to get to 72 fps on ultra settings. I don't use the 9070xt as my main card but I built a pc for my nephew and was just testing games out. This is the first one I have run on the card and just hoping it is a Blizzard issue and not a card performance issue. Downloading a few more games to test out but was very shocked to see this. I added a few of these cards to machines at work and they perform fine for those tasks.


Overall not hyped for this season at all based on running it for 5 minutes. The video card disappointment may not be blizzards fault but the buy in on the skins most certainly is. I never complain video game price stuff, I am a whale for sure, but for whatever reason I was completely put off by these prices.

I'll settle in on my normal pc for a few hours tonight, hopefully that spark comes back for me!

I've used somne of the free coins i got to buy two armors from the collab, if i played all seasons i might been able to buy everything but i'm tired of Live Service games. No skin is worth $25.

I don't know why I am hoarding all my coins, I could get all the armor so resources are not the issue…for me it's the amount of resources they want for these items.

This is just a personal disappointment on my end, I'm sure they will sell gang busters. I see the skins on lots of players in Koyvshad (however the hell you spell that).
 
I used the coins every season to buy the battle pass, as a "discount". But I'm not sure I'll get the next. Most cosmetics don't suit my taste, and it seems ashes are not part of it anymore (or never were and I thought it was)
 
I'm not feeling positive about the new changes to MTX either.
What I'd like to see with regard to cosmetics -

More of the unique items in the game have more interesting models. Especially the mythic uniques. They look very bland. Doombringer looks like a plastic toy.
A method of being able to earn cosmetics from previous seasons through gameplay.

It feels bad that the only way to look particularly cool in this game is to spend more money even though we already bought the game. I can understand when free to play games do this, but it shouldn't be the case for full price games.

Blizz are selling signature cards and different levels of heroes in Hearthstone also at an extortionate price. I dont understand who are buying these things at that price. Its not that I cant afford them, but a bad deal is a bad deal no matter how affluent you are.
 
£25 for a per class skin is robbery. This isn't a f2p game. On the plus side, the characters are so small and angle so steep that I've never really seen anyone dressed 'cool' or thought a skin looked amazing. The only screen that makes me interested is the loading screen on group content. The pets are kinda cool looking though

maybe itll get a bit more interesting when sets come back. maybe they wont do sets but yeah it's a bit stale in terms of aesthetics.

I don't know why I expected the price to be different and tbh i should have expected it but for some reason it just didn't sit well with me.

Hopefully we are entering a time in gaming where the purchase at least feels worth it if not great (Clair Obscur for example…and hopefully the new mafia game as well is more bang than the buck)!
 
Interesting short video about Infernal Hordes min/maxing. I'll test it later to see if this is actually correct.

TLDR - ignoring all the spires will cause the game to not give you any options for spires when you choose your next boon/bane, and repeatedly choosing to buff the elites is actually better than the Hellborne options because of some bug that repeatedly gives you the best choices for elites.

Always something with a lot of spikes and crap. And now I see my battle pass activation token is converted into "silver" coins and I don't even have enough to get a skin from the shop.

What a game.
