That didn't stop games on the OG XBox from looking much better as time progressed. But this consoles are not some kind of special made hardware. They are basicly lowend PCs...
Lol you really believe that?
Your premise is far less believableLol you really believe that?

Compare a low end PC game from 2015 and then 2005 and tell me which one looks better? But this consoles are not some kind of special made hardware. They are basicly lowend PCs...
The lead Architect of PS4 said the console was designed to be futureproof

Sony is constantly working on bringing new updates/features that utilize PS4

And of course, you have the game developers themselves who are always finding new ways to to use the hardware. Ray tracing wasn't talked about at the PS4's reveal yet a game did later show up on the console that now uses it.

Halo 4 came to the 360 in 2012 didn't it?
Same with the XB and 360.
They did fine over the course of their era as low-end spec PC.

Aside from image quality, Uncharted 4 does other things as well, if not better IMO, especially physics.
Even 3rd party studios like Rocksteady have produced high quality stuff, something you would expect from first party devs.
Yeah, and it downgraded scale, models, textures, sound quality, particles, AI, HDR and water physics compared to Halo 3/Reach, but hey, it's 720p alright.
Great read. All in all the demo was incredibly impressive, and I'm sure it'll improve before release. Looks gorgeous.
But still looked amazing.
TLOU2 probably won't need destruction and large set pieces so it can look better than U4, doesn't mean it gonna push the system further. Besides TLOU looked and ran worse than U2/3.
Not to thread jack or derail.
But Watching NX Gamers tech analysis on Uncharted 4 made me a believer, I was impressed watching it live, impressed watching the stream over again.
But listening to NX Gamer talk about Uncharted 4 makes me lose it.

Uncharted 4 was fucking impressive as shit at E3.
Dont know which game I would place higher, this one or Ghost Recon, but it being Ubisoft I dont know if Ghost Recon will actually be at the level they are claiming.
With the release date still 8 months away...you got to believe ND will push this game even further...they are not just setting the standard...they are also setting themselves apart from everyone else...
Like they did last gen.
To this day nothing on PS3 looks better than Uncharted 2 or 3. Uncharted 2 was like 2009 or something too, fucking insane.

God of War 3 and Ascension are up there, easily...but I digress...
I put Uncharted 2 over GOW 3. The character models were all over the place with GOW 3. It was too inconsistent. Fighting on Chronos was cool, but I put the train level in higher regard.God of War 3 and Ascension are up there, easily...but I digress...
PlayStation 4 was designed with 1. Accessibility and 2. Potential. Smaller devs/studios on a strict budget can opt for straight ports and forgo the hassle of utilising the console to it's full potential - but still achieve quite stunning results. Meanwhile, first party and third party juggernauts can attempt to port over some of the more complex PC exclusive features utilizing the PS4's GPGPU architecture and it's future library expansions. It's a pretty genius way of taking Kutaragi's influence and streamlining it.
Of course it does, because it does not look as good as the order.Aside from image quality, Uncharted 4 does other things as well, if not better IMO, especially physics.

Why did you omit the i3 from i3+750Ti?I want to believe it's true since the GeForce 750 Ti keeps matching or outperforming the PS4 despite lesser specs. Maybe Sony is actually holding back or the architecture/drivers just aren't as efficient.
Lol you really believe that?
Ctrl-f: anisotropic filtering
Huh, nothing?
Uh oh.
Lol you really believe that?
Yes. It is common knowledge from consoles to PC's that tools mature, development becomes more efficient due to said tools maturing, thus games improving.
They are only repeating what we already know.
Doesnt change the fact that this is simply some lowend pc hardware. There is no Cell to master anymore.

Perfect
Uh.. I think you misunderstood my post. I meant that Uncharted 4 does most visual features as good as, if not, better than The Order aside from image quality. Also, a lot of the tech in The Order is baked IIRC. Uncharted 4 seems to be going for more dynamic graphical features.Of course it does, because it does not look as good as the order.
If UC4 looked like the order, you would lose out on a lot of other things like physics
