Sources say that the cable network is trying to land original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to revisit their roles of sweethearts Cory and Topanga, who married before their ABC sitcom ended its seven-season run. The new series would center on their preteen daughter.

I'll admit the college years did kind of go down hill. I also like how Disney was able to show the episode where Corey and Topanga go on their honeymoon lol.

I rewatched this show a couple of months ago. The first few seasons held up pretty well. The latter seasons were not terrible so much, but they fell into that trap of long-running shows where all the characters become caricatures of their former selves. Cory and Topanga, for instance, became unbearable, while Eric became largely an imbecile to be laughed at and degraded. Never cared too much for Shawn's brother, either.

My favorite childhood show next to batman TAS.BMW was one of the very few TGIF shows to have a full successful run. Had a great last episode too. If they can get Feeny i give it my full support. Shawn would be a plus.

Not sure if I want a sequel though, it ended well and did all it needed to do. It could end up like those 13 episode sit coms that are generic, unfunny and unmemorable. I'm still interested so I'll definitely check it out if it ever happens.

Oh, and Mr.Feeny is top 5 sitcom characters of all time easily!
