This is what I see with a lot of my friends.

I prefer the lean look. Pretty average and not too tall. Big muscles and a big frame... not for me.

There is no right answer. Everyone is different, and that's what makes life groovy. One thing I would say is that you should never try to alter your body to please someone else. Any improvement to your physique should be because it's what you want to better yourself.

As for my preference as a member of GayGAF? Personally, I love muscle. There is nothing hotter to me than two muscular guys together.

I don't think it's a really crazy assumption to say that a person patterns their looks in part based on the type of person they'd like to attract. You rarely see a blonde bimbo looking type with a wiry, nerdling for instance.
