Do you arrive on time?

It depends.

Work? I have a long interstate drive that can get busy, so I plan on getting there early. That way if there's traffic, I'll still be on time.

Friends? It's usually whenever everyone can get somewhere. Can't really be late.

Holiday's at grandmas, I can be about 10 minutes late if need be. She's never in a rush.

Edit: When I worked in retail though, I could be 10 minutes late sometimes. I hated that job so much. With minimum wage, it's not like I would've been too bothered if they actually cared. "Oh sorry there's traffic." Screw retail bullshit.
 
Always, always early. People who are chronically late are extremely selfish and inconsiderate. Their actions directly imply that their time is more important than yours.
 
Throughout my entire childhood, whenever I had to rely on my mom for transportation, we were late. Movies, parties, whatever, we were always late. My mom didn't quite understand that if it took 15 minutes to get there, you couldn't leave 5 minutes before you were supposed to be there and make it on time. And it always pissed me off.

So I try to be early to everything now.
 
I usually arrive 30-45 mins before work. I like to get comfortable, talk to co-workers, check e-mail and understand what's going on that day.
 
I'm at work an hour before the shift starts but that's mandatory and I get paid OT for it. Everywhere else I go I try to be 10-15 minutes early. I hate running late and have no respect for people that show up late to everything.
 
20-30 minutes early. Usually not more than that. I leave early too just in case something happens or I encounter a delay.
 
Always early, regardless who the person I'm meeting is. I'm one of those "if you're early, you're on time" people. Drives me nuts when people are late for stuff we have planned.
 
Always early, because the way transit works in Toronto is you're either early or late, then I always end up having to wait beyond the set time because my friends don't know the meaning of punctuality.
 
Early to everything. Work related things way early. I don't like to be late. Almost everyone I know is always late. Even colleagues. I'll get texts saying they're running late for meetings. It's kinda baffling. Always the same people.
 
For work: ussually, depends on traffic, at worst I'm 15 minutes late. Most of my co-workers are 20-25 minutes late everyday.

For Meetings: always arive 2 minutes before the meeting starts, always. If I'm early I wait in the car/lobby as I hate when people show up early to my meetings and make me rush my work. 2 minutes is to make up for the difference in peoples clocks.

For social events: Late if I can and its something I dont care about, early if its something important or someone important.
 
Usually 10 - 15 minutes early.

When my classmates and me had to meet up for a project, I was always the first one there. The 2nd person would arrive 20 - 30 minutes after the time suggested. It really annoyed me. It happened every time, and for some reason, I always showed up early.
 
Almost always early of it is just me. I really hate being late.

If it is my wife and I you can almost always count on us being late. Annoys me and she knows it, but she is horrible about being in time.

I usually tell her we have to be somewhere about thirty minutes earlier than we do so she will be ready to go early and we can still be early or on time.
 
If I say I'll be somewhere at a certain time, I'll be there at that exact minute. Did it multiple times this week.

I'm good at estimating arrival times, especially when I usually meet people within walking distance.

Speed up if I'm late, slow down if I'm early.
 
If it's a date or I'm meeting someone for who knows what reason, I always try to arrive between 5 to 15 minutes early. If it's a mall we're meeting at, chances are I'll be able to easily kill some time by window shopping or grabbing a quick drink somewhere in the mall.

Edit: If it's a party or a gathering at someone's place for a birthday or drinking, I usually arrive an hour late.
 
If I say I will be there at x time, just add 30 minutes MINIMUM. Even with business meetings, I don't give a fuck, count on it.

But you best be on time. My life is too interesting and important to wait on your behalf.

Matter of fact, this one girl once made me wait a little bit, so I called up another chick who didn't hesitate and met me within 10 minutes.

Needless to say, when, let's call her Julia finally got there, I was already face deep with prompt chick. True fucking story.

Call me selfish, guess what, I am. If you aren't steamrolling others, you are misunderstanding what it means to be successful.
 
I try to arrive exactly on time... unless the engagement/appointment is in the morning. I'm definitely not a morning person.
 
Depends. I always make the effort to arrive on time or early, but end up late sometimes.

I try to make appointments for later in the day because I know if it's in the morning there's a high chance I'll be late.
 
I'm consistently 30 minutes late for work, like everyday. For meeting I'm usually 5-10 minutes late if it's with friends. If it's someone I don't care about It's probably more. My wife it's the exact opposite. Nothing pisses me off more than when she makes me arrive early somewhere and we're stuck waiting.

Pretty much the only time I arrive a little early is for job interviews funny enough.
 
Appointments, meeting with someone for business/nonpersonal reasons - 15 minutes early

School - whenever, as long as I'm not more than 10 minutes late.

Meeting with friends, and other personal meetings - knowing my friends I could be an hour late and still be the first person there, but I still try to be right on time or a little early.
 
I'm very punctual. I couldn't say exactly why, but I'm usually about 10 minutes early for everything. I think part of it is because I get anxious about being late, so I end up overcompensating and being early instead. I guess also don't like starting my shift or meeting feeling unprepared.

And I try not to hold people to the same standard, but it's hard. I can't but feel like people who are habitually late are just rude or disrespectful. I know in my mind that's not simply the case, but that's how it feels.
 
Always early, I've almost winged it my entire life and manage to always be timely O_O

People being late all the time is annoying, as much as people who underestimate how long they're going to be out for.
Like at work when someone says "be right back in 10" but you actually have to quadruple that number.

Biggest issue I have is getting complacent about the rigid morning routine I set myself leaves very little time for anything else.
I get up, wash, eat, get dressed and all between at the same time like clockwork and when my family gets in my way in some manner or another they wonder why I get annoyed when they have fuck all reason to be in my way because none of them work or need to do any of it :|
They think "it's just a minute", but it's a minute here, a minute there, you make 10 of these little minutes and I'm late. The principle of it!

Luckily I make up for it rushing around like an idiot.
 
Early. I generally always have my Kindle with me because most other people are unreliable motherfuckers in that regard.
