There really isn't much to go off of. I mean you've been friends for a while, you should know how she reacts to these sort of situations at least partially. What's she like in general with guys? That might flesh her out a bit in terms of when to call to help yourself.

Its going to vary case by case, my experience most likely won't match yours. But I talked with this girl quite a bit for about four years, sexual tension was always there, and by chance this spring break came and we did the deed. Now she's back with an ex and way gone. It doesn't bother me that much, I mainly miss the hilarious online chats we used to have, the sex is secondary to that. I've come to the conclusion that maybe the sexual tension is what kept our convos going for all those years.
I'd give her a call after a day or two, man. There's really no reason not to. You've already done the most personal thing two people can do together, so just call the damn number!
