Do you have a nickname in real life?

I've had a lot, the most recent was the Saladin because I look a bit like an Arab with full beard and shit
 
The one that's stuck over the years is "Captain", because out of my social circle, I was the one who always made the plans to get together and do stuff.

Other ones stem from my name "Joseph" (much like GamerJM), so "Joe", "Seth" and indeed "Broseph" are used quite regularly.

I also have a habit of giving people I know nicknames too, which confuses the hell out of people when they look through my contacts. I have a "Crazy Pete", a "Red Mike", "Sarge", "Admiral", "Beardy The Mullet", "Fat Daz/Big D" etc.
 
I was called "cripple" for about my first 2 years of high school because I managed to fuck up the same leg twice in one year.
 
- Gumbi (From a Co-Worker because I always wear a green hoodie)

- Giovanni (It was what my first name would have been)

- 'Middle Name' (My aunt calls by it all the time)

- Flaco (Family)

- Miclo (Family)

- Ainur (Given to me by my best friend; It's her combination of Asian + Beaner) lol

- Spooky (Given to me from somebody from Jr. High, because of a handle I had)

- Batty (From NeoGAF folks) :D

- E-Money (Given to me by cousin's husband)

- Eazy-E (I was called that by three people in Highschool)

- Enrico Suave (Family)

- Pooch (Ex-Girlfriend)

- Daddy Big Dick (From one of my friends)
 
- "Chicken" ("Poulet" in French; used to be because of my username on a website, it just stuck)
- Otto, by a friend (blond with blue eyes, so she gave me a German name... ok...)
- Pooh, by a friend ... dunno why (might actually be a short and misspelled version of "Poulet")

Probably because my bright eyes and aggressive look, even though I am not... that's just my face :(

People called me Chucky in high school.... and a totally different set of people started calling me that at work. So there must be some truth to it.

Colleagues calle me "Ploos" which is my front letter combined with my last name. No idea why.

A lot of my friends call me variations of Brandon or Eggbok
I get:

Bran
Bran Bran
Raisin Bran
Brandy
Brando
Bran Cereal
Yogurt (I was obsessed with yougurt when I was younger)

OR

Egg
Eggy
Eggbok
Egg Boil

There is like a bazillion more for Eggbok but those are by online friends lol.
 
Had the nickname tj in high school. It sorta stuck around for a while and everyone who knows me still from that time period still kinda calls me that occasionally, though it's more of a joke now.

Some crazy nicknames in here. Mine is just a variance on my last name Woods

Woods,woodzy,Twoods but it all stems from playing sport as a kid. Almost no-one in my friendship group calls me by my first name which is preferred tbh. It's just weird when meeting new people that friends refer to me as one thing and I introduce myself using my normal name
 
I feel like everyone knows someone that has the nickname Chewie. The only people that call me that now are some of my family and sometimes when I run into people from the neighborhood I grew up in. I get Rosie every now and then, but I feel like that's my dad's nickname.
 
I had two nicknames growing up, "X-Man" and "Zay". My friends called me X-Man in school and my family used Zay because it was easier to pronounce than my full name, that and I liked it. I still use Zay, because its better that way for me and everyone else.

i hate that ufc dummy stole my nickname and got famous, but i think he's on the outs now, so i'm back in the clear.
 
I was always really clumsy as fuck and had the worst luck out of anyone in the entire school so I was often ironically called "The Legend".

A lot. Lol. Almost my whole family calls me Tato. This started back when I was 4 as my little sister couldn't pronounce my name and called me Tato. It's stuck on and no one really calls me by my real name.

Sometimes my friends call me Lil C or Gooch. Lmao. Funniest one I get called is 3 headed dragon. Happened when I went kartimg with friends about 5 years ago.
 
I've had a nickname in school, but only our computer science advanced course used it. (it was my username for the school's computers)

"sphisch" (s for student, phi are the first three letters of my forename, sch the first three of my surname)
 
My initials are JB and I am the "third". The people I work with call me "JB3" because my father also worked in the same place before he retired.
