I can't stop buying them. Even though I appreciate the normal boxes a lot more as steelbook designs vary a bit too much in my opinion.

I feel like some regions get more steel books than others.
Is there any place to find a list of all available per console for those interested in tracking some down?

SteelBook > soundtrack (hopefully in the steelBook?) > art books > statues.

My deluxe FF XV is probably the nicest physical game I own, outside of Blizzard CEs but that's sorta a different tier.

Ambivalent. They can look okay, but typically just wind up making me paranoid about potentially damaging the disc when I take it out or put it back into the case as a result of the harder plastic used in them.

I only own the Valkyria Chronicles Remastered steelbook and it's really nice. When you open the case completely it shows a full illustration of your squad.

I hate how they don't line up on the shelf properly, so not a big fan.

Me also, but I actively go out of my way to not get them. I'd much rather a standard case.

There's no consistency.

• Centered text, PS4 Logo
• Off-centered text, no PS4 Logo
• Centered text, different logo

That drives me crazy.

As promised, here is the collection so far. Missing from the picture is only Batman Arkham Origins steelbook.

Planing on adding Overwatch, Horizon ZD and Persona to the collection soon.

I like them since its the collector in me, but I haven't been buying them lately. P5 would be the only one I'm gonna get. Skipped it on FFXV when I had the UCE and deluxe version. Some of the nicer looking steelbooks aren't available for NA. Would have considered getting MGS V, but we got a metal arm along with it lol.

Don't really like store exclusive day one collector's edition. *glares at Square Enix store*
The Nier:Automata's steelbook is nice, but not $190 nice.

Dude!!!! What an awesome collection!!

I buy CE of the game i absolutely love. If those contain steel book, thats good, if not i don't care much. Haven't bought a particular edition of a game just for the steel book.

They're nice to look at when you buy the game, but I don't go out of my way to seek them out. Destiny and Fallout 4 CE have good-looking steelbooks.

UK and Germany usually get noticably more exclusive steels or versions than the rest of the world.

What's wrong with Minecraft? Ghosts is crap but that's why I own the steelbook and not the game itself.

Plus I have a bunch of great steels like Bloodborne, Driveclub, Killzone etc. which are great games and great Steelbooks

To be fair, a good chunk of great games never come with a Steelbook so I take what's cheap, rare or available.

Thank you very much! I'd love to see more steelbook collections here on GAF since it's kinda nice seeing all the spines and figuring out which Steelbook and version it is. Sometimes I forget that a certain Steel exists and then it's easier to track it down thanks to that.
