Do you think there are any AAA 2015 games still left to be announced?

Nintendo might reveal their other 2 "saved" games like Devil's Third. Maybe one more surprise too. Their fall lineup is already stacked, FExSMT, Zelda, Starfox and last exclsuive Sonic.

Sega has incerdibly empty lineup: just Hatsune Miku Project Mirai and TW Atilla. Same as Namco, they also has just two games for 2015: Tales of Zestria, Tekken 7 (possibly). I expect couple surprise announcements from both, if not megatons.

Namco announced Time Crisis 5 not too long ago

....then wtf does a reveal even mean? A new character in MGSV? DLC costumes in a Ubisoft game?

Well unfortunately yes. Over the years we had stuff like AC3 DLC or fucking Cranky Kong counting as reveals. It could be new trailers for games we already know about with nothing really new in it.

I seriously doubt there will be 12 brand new games announced. Hell, I'd bet on one or two.

I could see something Gears of War related coming out next year. With how much companies love doing Collections.. 1-3 would be nice on Xbox One.

You can pretty much count on it! There are always games that get announced and released within the same calendar year like Far Cry 4 was last year.

At the least, I think the following is going to be announced and released next year:

- New COD
- New AC
- At least one notable Nintendo game
- Forza Motorsport 6
- Something from Bethesda (possibly Dishonored 2 or Fallout 4)
- At least one notable Sony game

And this is without factoring in the number of games that are very likely to release next year that haven't been given a date yet. Like Rainbow Six: Siege, Star Wars Battlefront, MGSV, Mad Max, and Tomb Raider. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Rockstar game and new Need For Speed pop up within the next 12 months.

Isn't holiday 2015 really empty still? Pretty sure half of 2015 has yet to be announced.

Yeah the second half of 2015 is empty aside from your usual Sports/CoD/AssCreed deal. I'm sure SOME games will be delayed, but there are a ton that should be left to be revealed.

Yes... but I'll bet they'll get delayed to 2016 as we reach the end of next year.

Sony has switched to the shorter marketing schedules. They will most surely announce more big 1st party games for 2015. So far they have only 4 AAA releases scheduled for next year [Bloodbourne, Order, MLB and U4].

They announced a Ratchet and Clank reboot too.

I think Xbox one have some, Spencer said holiday 2015 is so pack they have to delay some games.
Halo5, forza6, fable, quantum break, scale bound, phantom dust, crack down, gears 4, battletoads, rare new games, tomb raider 2, some Japanese studio exclusive.
That doesn't count all smaller AA titles, it's crazy.

Usually the last Fall games are announced at E3. Many get delayed, but you still often see at least some announced there or right before.

For example there's guaranteed to be a CoD next Fall and that will be announced the first week of May like always.

That said, there just aren't that many AAA games in general, so it probably feels like a lot less are getting announced (because there are way less getting announced).

They'll be plenty of AAA games announced for the end of next year. We might see some at the VGAs and then the usual announcements at e3

If Left 4 Dead 3 can count as a "AAA" then that, for sure. Still hoping on some forms of biometric sensing kit to come with it too

Yea I would say some Wii U games at least. Looks a little dry at the second half of next year, if they delay splatoon I would be pissed.

Yeah. Depends on if you count it as AAA but Halo MCC wasn't officially announced until E3 last year.

I still hope we see Fallout 4 and Halo 5:G at the VGA's
Also still holding out for a KH3 trailer and a jak and daxter sequel/reboot

I'm all for devs waiting to announce their games until they're actually decently far into development. I hate when games are announced years before they come out. That being said, second half of next year is fairly empty so I think there's still some big AAA games that are going to be announced soon.

Next Mass Effect, maybe? It's gotta be pretty well into development and does Bioware have anything announced for Fall 2015 yet? What other developers have had 2 or more years since their last release?

I'm sure there will be several announced for 2015, the question is will they make it out in 2015.

BF: Hardline and Arkham Knight were announced in 2014 and supposed to be out this year, but were delayed. Kinda expect something similar to happen again.

Depends on your definition of AAA. If your definition depends on game and marketing budget, then there aren't all that many left.

I'd lean towards calling L4D3 a AAA release, and that's likely to land somewhere in '15

Either way, I'd think there's "plenty" left.
