Do you think you'll age well?

Idk, I'm 20 and I look like a Freshmen in High School so that would make me say yes but I just feel like it's going to be no. I don't exercise or eat healthy and my family looks pretty average for their age.

I'm 27 and I would argue I look much younger. I've always had a babyface and I hated it. Now I dont really mind, at all.
People think I'm in early twenties.

I can only hope it translates to older ages too.

I'm 38 and I look younger than my 27 year old girlfriend :-)

Looking younger than my years sucked for a long time though. I got asked for ID to buy cigarettes when I was 25 :-( (Legal age in the uk was 16 at the time, that may have risen now). I don't have to shave very often (every other day at most) and I don't think I'll ever be able to grow any substantial facial hair.

I'm 30 and I should probably exercise more and drink a little less but yeah I'm doing fine. Got some crows feet coming in but I've been a squinty-eyed dude my whole life so whatever. I've had facial hair since my early 20s because without it I look like a child.

I feel like people also dress "younger" nowadays which makes us all seem younger than we are.

edit: OH, i feel like my nose has gotten noticeably bigger! is that a sign of aging?

I still kind of have a baby face, and I look a bit younger than I am, so I guess I should age better? Maybe?

Well, my parents aged well (they're told that they look younger than their age).

I neither smoke or drink so....I guess the odds are good. Going pretty smooth so far.

Im hoping my lack of sunlight exposure pays dividends.

I'm more worried about being tall as I get older and the effect that has on knees and lowerback.

Hopefully yeah. So far so good! I always get confused for a teenager and that can be annoying most of the time, but I guess it's a good thing.

I'm 28.

A general advantage of being asian (including south asian) is that we tend to age somewhat slowly. In addition, if I abstain from making unhealthy choices, adhere to proper skin care and putting on great amount of weight then I should do fine.

I remember the first thing a friend of mine told me after I lost around 35 lbs is that I looked nearly a decade younger.

Unfortunately nope, 38 and already my hairline has receded to the northpole and my skin looks a lot rougher.

Trying to keep myself in shape though.. I will NOT allow mysef to get fat or get a fat belly.

I'm not sure. I'm 34 and I still look pretty good for my age (IMO), especially given my lousy health but you never know when things catch up with you.

i'll probably age well! We all look young in my family!

My father is 64 and he look like 45-50

my sister is 32 and people still ask for identity card when she buys cigarette (16 is the legal age here)

I'm 27 and people think i'm 16-20! That's really annoying right now, especially when you go out and girls think you're like the little brother of your friends! But when i'll get older, it will be better

I hope so,
I am 37 and some people reckon I look late 20's..no grey hair and if I shave I look 15 lol
my mum is 60 and really looks early fifties.

I am Asian and I have a babyface. I also don't do drugs or party hard and am fairly easygoing and mellow, so I would think I will age well.

Yes. I'm going on 27 but can pass for 17. I don't drink, party, do drugs, eat that badly, and I excercise a few times a week.

40 now, and still going strong. I'd argue I look much better now, than ten years ago.

But I also take a lot more care about my body, then I did then..

Who knows. I'm 25 and unshaved I look like a kid. At the same time my hair's rapidly getting gray already. Will be interesting to see what I'll look like in 10 years. :P

30 here. When I have a beard, people tell me I look older. When I shave my beard off I get a mix of "You look so much younger!" and "You look like someone's friendly lesbian aunt."

I'm 25 and I still get carded so maybe. Idk. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or do anything self destructive so that should help I guess.

I hope, yes, not only because of good genetics (My mother preserves her very feminine features in her almost 50's with little to no wrinkles, and my father is kind of a hit with the ladies at the same age) but because I have that case of "puffy" face in my mid 20's you hate when you're young (what am I not manly enough) but will surely be your blessing when you're older.
I don'y expect miracles, but if I get old in a Liam Neeson's state, I'll be very happy! Hell, I'd take an Antonio Banderas state.

Anecdotal: I think "pure" white people age by far the worst, sun damages them a lot, they get those brown spots all over their bodies and wrinkles are more noticeable (gray on white > gray on brown/black). But still, you wanna avoid premature aging? Don't smoke, don't eat bad, excercise, drink water, run away from the sun.

I hope to. So far, so good at 32. I've gotten better-looking with age. Tried to stay out of the Sun besides in mid-Summer. I guess I probably drink a little too much but otherwise, I keep myself fit. You can't really tell by my pic because of the beard, though.

I'll be fine.

1. I'm black; African American tend to age well alas 'Black don't crack'
2. I'm fit; workout regularly, photo evidence scattered around Gaf.
3. I'm vegan; eat healthy a majority of the time.

I don't think being Black has anything to with it. Look at Lebron James and Greg Oden. They looked much older than their biological age for years.

Lebron & Greg Oden do look older than their biological age, but that's not to say they won't age well. In their later years they may look the same as they do now.

Dunno about aging well, I have terrible skin already. People tend to think I'm early 20s though when I'm 28 in a couple of months, so yay?

Yeah. I mean I'll never be mistaken for being in my 20's (I'm 6'6, when I was 19, people didn't think I was in my 20s), but I'll look badass, that's for sure.

In the next ten years, my hair will be gone but that's ok, I've shaved my head and look great with it, thank God. Aiming to look like this at 45:

I'm almost thirty and only have one grey in a head full of hair. On the down side I'm fat (5'7 almost 200 lbs). I need to get that under control.

I'll be 29 in a few months and I think I will age well.
People still mistake me for being somewhere around 22 sometimes.
Though I seriously should lose a few pounds and train a bit more.

I'm 43 this year and whenever I tell people my age they look genuinely surprised. Not sure if it's because of my looks or my immaturity though..

Also I'm pretty fat, which helps to hide signs of aging. I also have a weird forehead - it's almost totally smooth from wrinkles. I met up with some high school friends and was kind of surprised how old most of them looked.

I was pretty good regarding skin care during my 20s which may have also helped. Plus I have a thick head of hair with a good hairline. I think if I lost 20-30kg I would look much better, but it's nice to be told I look younger than my real age.

I'm gonna age terribly and I know it. Baldness is common in my family and I'm generally not a good looking dude anyways.

I'm definitely gonna embrace the hell out of my aging into ugliness, though. Always gotta be some gross old people around.

I hope so. I mean, I've gotten better looking in the past few years as my confidence has grown as a result of me exercising and not eating the way I used to.

I've even accepted things about me that I just sort of subconsciously ignored. Like, my nose is slightly crooked and I'm OK with that. My hair ain't what it used to be, and that's OK. I'm finding that as I care less about what other people think about me, and more about what I think about me, people seem to be warmer with me.

My dad is 58 and looks like he's ~45

My mom is 51 and looks like she's ~42

Nearly everyone on my dad's side of the family lives well into their 80s, some into their 90s.

I feel pretty good about how well ill age, haha.

I'm 25, but people think I'm 19 or 20. My mom looks really good for her age of 53. My dad, though, he's been a regular drinker and smoker since he was 15 and it shows in his face. Still in all, I'd say he doesn't look too bad for 68. He still has a had full of hair at least, so that bodes well for me, I think.
