Nah breh. I do grab onto corners and door frames at home and just swing myself around though. Living room and bedroom are right next to each other so I can just grab the corner and swing myself into the next room.

Same here, I never touch walls but I use door frames sometimes to swing myself into the next room if it's a sharp corner. It sounds weird, but yesterday Mr. & Mrs. Smith was on TV and I was watching it while doing other stuff when I saw Angelina do it. I was like, "hey! I do that too". Guess it's fairly common.

I do, sometimes. Glad to know I'm not the only one, actually.

My parents always used to yell at me for it. Either "You'll smudge the walls" if it was in our house or "You're getting your hands dirty" if we were out in public. They're generally pretty relaxed people.

i dont because i dont seek tactile sensory input. but i seek other types of stimuli, like every human. everyone has sensory seeking and sensory avoidance behaviors based on how their brain integrates sensory info. some people have a clinical disorder

I do. Walls, ceilings, fences, rails. I reflexively touch a lot of things, and I'm aware I do it. I like the feeling of different textures, and I get a stronger sense of place if I know what that place feels like.
