Not really, people well understand what the series is about by now. It's not a new ip or such. Heck, it can't be any more racy then previous games in the series.

Senran Kagura is doing fine and it's not like DOA5LR is innocent with how some of its costumes look

I think the big sites realized that those articles don't generate the amount of outrage that they were hoping for

There's a couple others, but still obviously very much in the minority. And I get what DoA is, and I'm not asking or expecting them to tone down the T&A, but just add some D too.

Like just put Bayman in a damn speedo and let him play some freaking volleyball. We can do this folks.

It's a shame they completely abandoned the motto they had when DOA5 was announced. I guess the bikinis give too much money to resist.

As one who has never cared for hometown, I'm pretty much in since I don't see them messing up life. That being said I never owned a Microsoft console and didn't like using the PSP so I don't know if the series is any good.

I've always liked this series. Not even that keen on Volleyball, but just messing about in the casino and buying stuff? Perfect chill out game, especially with the custom soundtrack on the original Xbox.

If it has custom soundtracks, I'm in.

Those are horrible IMO. ;_; Give that to Gen Fu.

And really, if you've seen a lot of the submissions for the costume contests, particularly the last one, you'll see there's fans out there asking for this. Like, make it a separate mode if you have to if certain delicate individuals need to be protected from bulging speedos, just give us the option.

I can tell you they'd get waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more publicity if they made it equal.

They're gonna milk this with DLC, that's for sure. But I'm still buying this day 1.

I do want the game to be more like DOAX1, though, as the second game really wasn't that much fun in comparison.

My thought exactly. They'll be robbing the DOA girls fanbase like never before. DOA5LR is a bad enough. They know exactly what the fans and makes sure they get as much money as possible from it. And we used to laugh at Oblivions horse armour... :/

I haven't played the latest DoA yet so I dunno the new characters, but my Hitomi shall get all the presents as usual!

Seems like a goldmine for DLC so I'm surprised it has taken them this long to bring it back.

Instead of pole dancing and stunned mullet gravure, they can have sweaty dudes working out at the outdoor gym and a male exclusive Greco-Roman wrestling mini game.

Though we haven't even gotten male swimsuits in DoA5 proper. It's ridiculous that they still haven't gotten around to that considering the ladies are drowning in bikinis.

Mostly hyped about the new character models. As said before, it's extremely difficult to go back to the old porcelain doll look.
Wouldn't say no to male characters too, for the fun aspect. Problem is it'd be hard to monetize many swimsuits for them :p
Anyway, if the game is a modern version of the previous games (not as much of a menu game), with everything enhanced and new activities, it should be good.

The women can get 2-girl pole dances. As a mini game too. So you can't just jerk off, you have to get the button presses right. Then you can save the replay and jerk off.

I dont know why people complain about cosmetic dlc. Its not essential to the game, and its not like you have to buy everything. I wish my favorite games had tons of cosmetic dlc.
