Sure, I do. For one, the presentation is absolutely peerless for action game titles. The models, the animation, the motion blur, the effects, etc are all just incredible. It's fun to just WATCH people go at it, and even more fun to play it. There's the fixed camera that always gives you the perfect view of the battlefield and the vistas, you never have to fiddle around with it like other action titles, nor is it too close for comfort like LoS often was. There's a sense of scale and epic action adventure that GoW provides and no other action title really does well to compete.
Furthermore, there's some interesting changes to the combat. Maybe not something the casual observer sees on their first glance, but if you pay attention you'll get a picture of how these can change the standard GoW formula.
This video does a good job showing and explaining some of these changes.
First, there's the new World Weapon system, which allows you to pick up various weapons you find in the game and are assigned to the O button, combining your traditional blade attacks with new combos and possibalities, varying the speed and approach to combat from area to area. Then, there's the new Teetering system, where Kratos can grab onto enemies with one chain and do various actions while still having some semblance of control. I think that adds another dynamic to the fights, and could lead to some interesting methods to tackle encounters. There's the new time gem there that can speed up, slow down, and otherwise manipulate time. You can already see how they can be used in combat, and SSM is often very good of using these new mechanics in interesting ways for puzzle, platforming, and chain-swinging segments.
And besides from that, there's an entire multiplayer component that from everything I've seen seems to do a very good job of transitioning the wonderful presentation and traditional GoW mechanics into a competitive/cooperative environment, along with adding plenty of new elements such as setting traps or the new escape/heal cooldown mechanics on the various forms of magic or sub-weapons you can find and equip.
There's an okish video here, of some journalist fooling around, but you can already get a sense of the kind of objectives, flow of battle, and various things you can do in just this one gamemode on this specific map.
And yeah, I kinda like to see some new areas explored in this series, but it's not like the industry is overflowing with wonderful-looking Greek mythology brawlers with light puzzle/platforming elements. Furthermore, everything I've seen of the game looks like a promising expansion on the series, one last hurrah for the franchise before it moves on to next-gen hardware(kinda similar to another GoW video game series launching in March 2012 as well). I'm looking forward to it.
