Recommend me a Tiderhunter build. I'm kind of tired playing with Arcane Boots, Blink Dagger, Drums, Vanguard (Mostly this, I get tons of assists but few kills).

I played a full game just now and what's up with people moving around so much? Don't a couple people with a bit of synergy concentrate on the same lane?

Every time I found myself with someone else I'd take out a few goons and their asses were gone. Nothing was in danger, people were just moving around too damn much

What the hell is going on?

I think TF2 is one of the few games I can say that I've retired from...although the new game mode is tempting...
Me too man. At a point in time, shortly before I got a D2 invite, I was really really good at TF2. Played it every day for months, and had been playing on and off since 08. But the thing is winning/losing in that game seems so meaningless, and nobody recognizes your skill. Dota 2 is just a much better competitive experience in my eyes. I'll hop on TF2 once in a while for my FPS fix, but Dota 2 is my main game now. Not to mention I prefer Dota2's item system. While very similar, I feel that getting battle points that eventually give you a guaranteed item is a great idea. In TF2 it seemed completely random with no real progression.

If you want to see the biggest throw in the history of Dota, watch match id 22616257. I was the Beastmaster. I was actually laughing at the end because of how bad it was. At least I won the game after that.

Also, I really like playing Beastmaster. I still need to get better at microing my dudes and that game was my first time with BM solo mid but he's really strong.

By the way for all the burden of knowledge talk about this game i found it way more welcoming for new players than LoL even if the mechanics are "harder", in part because bots aren't completely useless, but mostly because i can just click on any hero in the map and see their complete stats and all their abilities. In lol you had to wait for the game to end and go to a freaking menu to see that stuff.

So Tobi posted on Reddit that when he went to Valve it wasn't for an announcer pack. Looks like we know who voiced Meepo! :)

Just tried a CM gaming maxing Nova>Aura>Frostbite instead of Aura>Frostbite>Nova and it's working a lot better.

Also Tranquil boots are pretty nice. They aren't strider's boots but they are good enough I guess.

What hero gets a lot of benefits from Eye of Skadi? I just realized I've never gotten one.

It's really situational on the enemy lineup, but Morphling is great with it. Basically if there's someone you really need to kite (mostly melee carries without big escape mechanism/gap closer) or if you risk getting kited yourself it's a good idea.
Also it gives great stats and Morphling might be the hero that needs all 3 the most, even though lategame int isn't gonna be a lot useful.

I'm going to assume gyro does just because I saw someone far better than me get a lot of early ganks with gyro and he went for Skadi. It is also on Valve's item build for gyro as a situational item.

Skadi is a good situational pick on any ranged carry without a slow or stun. Especially if the enemy team has a must kite hero like Ursa or skeleton king.

Speaking of which I saw a guy build one on a Drow after his treads. Dunno if he was trolling or what. And no, he did not win.

Started using Ursa... noticing that I'm levelling up too slow compared to others on my team and the enemies as well. What do I do to keep up with them? I am farming the jungle btw. Should I lane instead?

SO CONFUSE

Ursa is a pretty slow jungler, you should be laning with him. Ursa + CM or Ursa + Veno can get you some easy early kills if you play your cards right. (or, in general, Ursa + slow or stun) His burst damage is very good in the early game.

Yeah it's the exact same software Valve uses for all their promotional videos. We will see some professional level stuff by fans within a year.

Ill admit frost biting and then three shotting an Ursa or shadow fiend is hilarious. But how often do you get the farm for that?

More like fat maiden.

I was 200g away from Midas on a CM once, but I think if I bought it everyone would yell at me.
