There are actually two international chests, a red and a blue one.

I just got one.

This is going to be an expensive couple of weeks, I guess I should also buy that alpine ursa bundle since you'll probably be able to get some cheddar for it down the road.

Edit: The alpine ursa stuff doesn't show up in the preview images, and if you click on the items, they bring you to a non-existent page. Who's going to take one for the team and confirm that you can still get one?

I just don't get how cowboy hat Ursa is any crazier than rasta dreadlocks Witch Doctor. Don't even tell me "it fits his character."

But Skrillex hair does fit on witch doctor.

They fit on Shadow Shaman too, but you have the issue of those things on the sides of his head getting in the way.

They just edited the Ursa bundle not to include the Alpine set. Looks like the price of $15 is also the same, so those who grabbed it made out like bandits (yay). I still have the set as well, so who knows what is going on now.

fuck, wonder if I made it in

When I purchased it, it said Alpine, but wont be able to open the bundle when I get home....*FINGERS TRIPLE CROSSED*

UPDATE:
MADE IT IN, WOOT

And Gabe feels sorry for asking the guy to make an item for the game, then being forced to take it down, and give him $100k.

The Alpine set was one of the few made before the workshop was public.

I wonder if they'll do this again with the cyborg broodmother. A lot of people complained about that set too.

I'm showing that the bundle no longer includes the alpine set. Can anyone confirm if it still has it?

Did they drop the price of the primal pack before removing the Alpine set? Did we get a double bargain?

Yeah, those who got the Alpine set in the bundle for $15 made out well. The set itself cost $14, and I think the bundle was like $25 when it was SUPPOSED to have Alpine.

Tobi laying some truth bombs.
Toby : 'LoL pro players are depressed' paraphrasing.

Toby's such a simpleton; (Toby speaking as one of the top teams): "we won the international once, we can do it again in six months let's take a break," this interview is hurting my brain.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU missed the ursa set.

really pissing me off atm for no apparent reason other then now i cant get it unless i wanna pay through the teeth for a trade

The thing that stuck out to me was him saying he had talked to some professional LoL players who had claimed that the only reason they are not playing another game right now is money. Which, maybe, is a bit depressing. :x

Wasn't he saying this would be a situation we want to avoid? If there's ONE tournament, once a year, that stands wayyy above all else in terms of price pool, what's stopping people from taking an extended break and coming back next year if their motivation for smaller tournaments gets quite low (because they feel insignificant)?

You can't just quit for 6 months while everyone else practices and still be the best team, all the other teams will leave you behind skillwise.

You don't think people could get back in top shape in the remaining 6 months before the next big tournament to shoot for?
Definitely not, but not because they won't be as good as they were formerly, but because everyone else will be better. Their "top form" won't be good enough.

Remember when chu was the best hon player by a long shot? And then he came back after a year long break, and despite his great mechanics was basically just a mediocre hon pro player.

I can't wait for custom maps and for someone to create a Wacraft 3 mod inside DotA 2.
I'd seriously be interested in such a venture, though there is little allure in recreating an RTS that was released nearly ten years ago. Enough potentially interesting mechanics one could give a spin without deferring wholly to what has been done in the past.

whatd he say

In a nutshell, Riot throws money around to make the game competitive, because it is not designed to be competitive in nature, and Tobi does not like that. He feels it cheapens the e-sports scene. Riot, essentially, forces their way into the e-sports scene in order to make a buzz with their game.

And (confirmed?) rumors say he's right, doesn't Riot pay MLG and other big e-sports competitions to ban out other MOBA/ARTS like games?

Was really funny to listen to him go on though, real talk for sure.
