SC2 hasn't put up much of a fight, it's been a pretty disappointing game for so many people.

No, it isn't. Think of bloodstone like a midas for Storm.

With regard to the bloodseeker match up: Not easy, he's going to be able to last hit on you if you aren't using mana, but if you can control the runes enough or bottle crow to sustain your mana you can keep him down.

SF match up: Very difficult for storm imo. As with anyone else v. SF, the first two levels will decide the lane before level 6. If you can keep him from CSing for a little while without raze you should be ok, if not the lane will be a total wash. Once you have your ulti you can kill him, but you can't eat razes on the way in. Do your best to maintain rune control to choke his mana and you can stay alive.

With regard to post orchid/late game: The general idea is you want to be able to go in and grab someone on the enemy team and not immediately die. This will often translate to bkb or linken's, one or the other is almost always needed. Since storm isn't a carry in the traditional sense (a ton of +dmg), you have to stock up on mana regen and disables to keep yourself relevant. You want to be able to disrupt key enemy heroes, deal decent damage, but most importantly use your ultimate to keep on a target until it dies while protecting yourself from damage. Sheep/shiva are great on him, skadi has it's place in some games as well. Orchid of course, which will hopefully be your first item.
 
I think its a shame the DOTA community can sometimes be a bit rude to anyone new and generally quite forceful. Am really enjoying doing the mode where you get 3 characters; its forcing me to try people I wouldn't usually pick.

My knowledge of the item list has grown greatly.
The game really is well made in terms of learning through playing. Sometimes just a bit annoying to get people on at you for dying from a Huskar attack lol; more irritating is people just reading the kill feed and not seeing the situation.

I am enjoying it more now though.
Hope we get more variety in the environment though; its fun but I'd like things like a city map with no trees or something. You know; sort of mini-tournaments in the game. Pushing the enemy to their HQ and killing them there. Playing the same team (and anyone having to replace others). Would be a lot of fun.

I do think I've been playing quite well recently though. Just a bad Weaver game and I've been generally alright.

During the game they're cast they have Zeus come on screen whenever they play a replay.

xyclopz asked "Is Zeus black?" They then had a discussion post game saying maybe he is "blacker in dota 2 than dota 1 because something went wrong with his lightning."

That was nuts ya, first time I've seen a first blood like that really set the pace for the rest of the game.

Wisp+Well Fed Riki+Naix infest... I think I had a nightmare like that one night.

And this Orange game is actually really exciting. Knife's edge balance.

Indeed...Blizzard and their algorithms based balancing sucks...they needed to just do some old fashioned balancing using their freaking eyes and common sense!

Orchid I'd say. Orchid lets you solo kill better.
 
This game on ELG is insane too, and having these guys cast it just makes it so much better. 6 slotted AM on Dire vs 6 slotted Luna on Radiant. Exposed ancient.. good stuff.
