Sounds like my last game. 52 kills and I was part of 47 of them. My GPM was mediocre, but it was a unnecessarily hard game. Void and Jak lose top hard to Sven and Keeper. Takes Void 25 minutes to finish his MoM. I told them at 10 minutes when they were like "gg" that I'd carry them. They said okay. At the 35-minute mark we had to start turtling and we had only one tower. Spent the last 20 minutes down a rax, etc. But we kept holding them off.

I'd like to thank the pro NP who decided he need to go dps carry spec instead of buying a sheep to stop Drow. I'd like to thank Keeper for not buying dust a few more times. When he stopped supporting with basic detection items, their chances went to shit.

Also, most Ursa players are so lame. You can just set a watch to them. Rosh up? --> go --> kill Ursa --> take Rosh instead of him.

Well they also have Tiny and PL crashing the game just like several heroes were last week. I dont think Dota test is actually catching bugs. These are pretty major fuck ups the last two weeks.

Who actually plays it for bugs? People just fuck around with new features and then call it a day.
 
I want to call PC Gamer, demand to talk to the people responsible for that article, and tell them never to write another. It hurt me to read. They have no idea what they're talking about.

I can count the number of games journalists who can talk intelligently about the mechanics of games even as complex as LoL, and basically all of them now work on the development side.

Even those would never have the time to really get the kind of in depth knowledge you need to differentiate games this complex, but they'd at least be able to make reasonable observations about the basic mechanics, which that PC gamer article doesn't even touch.

The handwaving in the comments to the criticism is even more headache inducing. Claiming that article is in anyway a balanced and reasonable debate is laughable.
 
ok so im playing dota and this enemy player i dont like his name is horsecock666 he starts botering me mid because hes a trash talking jerk and he always picks nyx like pushing me around and stuff anyway usualyi dont usualy do anything cuz i get scared but that game he kept killing me and burning my mana while i try to mid and play with my friends and every1 was quiet cuz no1 wanted to get kileld but i was starting to get angry so i said to him stop it already, nyx and he's like f*** u, dork make me and im like fine thats it!!!11! so he stuns me and i fall back to my tower every1 in game starts going fight fight fight and nyxs like get up you b**** so i move away from tower slowly and im REALLY angry and i turn around and i feel like theres this power inside me so i start screaming and razing at him like goku so every1 in the game pauses and looks scared and even nyx started to back up and look scared so i raze at him and yell you shudnt have messed with #1 world sf!!!1! i smash my keyboard and ultiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and i try to raze i dont see it but i could feel the force of it (im training it now in practice mode so i can see it) and nyx backed up a bit so i coul dtell him i hit him wiht it too then he turned around and walked awya cuz he was scared and evry1 in my game walked away too and my friends all come up to me and start saying stuff like good job and my friend procarbine says dude your eyes turned gold for a second and im like raelly and hes like yeah and then all my other friends are like yeah i saw that too so thats the story of how i learned that i was #1 world sf.

So how bout that game that Batang and I just played with Aui.2000 and Fogged from Dignitas. I fed like a monster with Brood and Batang went solo mid with pudge vs an OD.

Its kind of odd to play the game knowing that about 2000 people are watching the game your playing in, and it really sucks when you go brood against a tri-lane. I gave up some stupid kills but oh well.
 
Oh god, watch match 138710939 the last few minutes. The Pudge hooks made me laugh so hard the tears were streaming down my face. When he got tired of trying to hook and just runs at me with cloud on I couldn't see for like 2 minutes.
 
Orange vs ZephyX, Orange breaching high ground at 11 minutes in the game. Such big skill disparities in the SEA tournaments sometimes. Orange, Zenith and maybe First Departure (since MUFC is currently not active) are way better than everyone else, I feel.
 
Just won a 1 hour and 4 minutes long match as Invoker, feeling mentally drained.
Won against a refreshaghs warlock though, which feels good.

Yeah not even for his horses, but for the chakra.

Then again you could achieve the same thing with an early soul ring and a decent health pool.

My personal favorite is Razor with Soul Ring, but I have had much success with Earthshaker Soul Ring as well.

Hell, if you solo you can get early levels into your spell you're spamming and really throw them out of the lane.
 
Got the Sniper cape. Would have probably preferred... well, any other item. But it's a rare so it can be future trade bait I suppose. I had a fun game as WD where were were getting beat pretty bad early by Nyx, but then I became MVP with a clutch early game gem purchase. That BH that got all the kills was riding on my coat tails.

Too bad you can't play carry WD. I usually play support so it always sucks looking at my KDA but knowing that my contribution isn't reflected in that.

I went up against a carry WD before and it was insane. He got a rampage. It was not my finest moment.

Also if you always play support, be sure to brag about having the most assists. And if you lose you can always pull out the "whatever man, I upgraded the courier" card.

I'm superstitious about opening them too close to eachother timewise. I got dupes once by opening chests one after another - so now I wait 20-30 seconds.

I know that this is completely ridiculous

are the contents of a chest locked to a chest (predetermined), or are they randomized? anyone know?

Soul Ring + Tranquils is best build on PL, after popping SR you pay like 15 Mana, if any, for both a Lance and the Tranquil charge. While it doesn't quite replace a KOTL you still get ridiculous harass out of this.
 
Opened 1 Chest, got the Batrider Bandana, traded around and now I have a Tidehunter Ward and the Sniper's set instead.

Anyone want any of that, just lemme know.

I had a game last night where my entire team blamed me, Lich, for the loss

Not the Meepo with the same score as that Lich
no, blame the support who spent like 1500 of their gold buying the courier and wards the whole game. :/

We laned against Earthshaker and Centaur. Earthshaker's stun has a longer range than my auto-attack. Auto-Attacking him would have been suicide. Lich's best form of harassment is stealing their farm, denying and keeping the lane pretty much right under our tower. Which I did the entire early game. Me firing suicidal auto attacks on Earthshaker isn't going to do anything.

Ugh, why does the game have to be someone's fault? Can't it just be the other team was better built than ours... calling your support a noob and telling them to buy more wards, pinging the store constantly (when the wards were on cooldown) isn't going to suddenly win us the game. So cut it out. It makes me want to announce to the enemy team you're killing Roshan while the enemy takes our barracks (which was pretty bad for them to do, but remember, it's Lich's fault we lost the game).
