And then you get into mid game and realize you're not doing much. Then it hits late game and you're doing nothing of value.
Lich needs a buff. Unless you can dominate with him early and really control the other team so yours can farm, he's a dud.
And this is from someone who loves to play him (used to).
Community is awful until you get to mid level

So not only does my game freeze when I check my profile, apparently it crashes when I'm just sitting at the main menu chatting in the GAF channel. Goddamn man, first SMITE boots me out of a match an hour into the game, and now I can't even idle in Dota. Why does the world hate Luap so much?
I think he is new because I have yet to seem him in chat since I started like 6 months ago
Half a key, trade fast now. NOW.
They could make Sacrifice not cost any mana, or up the range. Also, lower the cooldown of early levels of chain frost so the spell is up more often, and up his Strength Growth.

Lets talk pit lord. I feel like he's one of those heroes similar to razor in that he is never really talked about.
Is he any good after they remade him? His ult sounds pretty imba, it looks like a team wisp ult. How do you play him? He looks kind of wierd in that he's a caster as a strength hero. I'm guessing you play him like magnus or nyx, focusing on support stuff and blink dagger right?

Been a long ass time since I played him but he always used to be a team fight initiator and an AOE nuker/pusher. Pretty sure he's going to be running items like Arcane Boots, Blink, Shiva's Guard etc. as far as laning goes, I have no idea.
Let me go check his latest patch notes and see how he has changed.
Used Blinding Light to throw an enemy hero into an ally's Cogs... a split second before they went up. Where's my style medal.

Reduce the cooldown on Sacrifice, boost his ridiculous anti-carry potential even further.

I have NO IDEA how he plays anymore.
He was completely broken OP before his remake though, he was ripped out of CM after a while for being so impossibly strong at timing pushes.
Wow ok so they replaced his corpse expulsion spell with an aura. His corpse spell was situational and just made him use up a spell that he usually didn't have mana for between his first two spells. When that spell hit big though it really hit big and was OP at times (but I see that they nerfed it before they replaced it). His team presence is absurd now, the damage reduction aura is no joke.

No, his corpse expulsion was the most OP spell in the game for timing pushes.
lol, we coulda won just fine. Just had some silly plays is all and I was on the phone most of the game.
How does that work exactly? Never really seen much competitive Pit Lord play and very few people played the hero when I used to play Dota 1 (hell I played him for shits and giggles most of the time). I know that the Expulsion if you did it right was OP (I even mentioned it in my post) but how do you coordinate it?

Can anybody tell me how much the new Lich and PL sets costs? The webstore isnt updated yet.
Whenever valve tries to redo sound effects they always seem to go way over the top in a bad way. Like with the stun and buyback noises that everyone and their mother thought were shit.
Maybe their sound guy likes dub-step, and if you click all the buttons quick enough you get a sick beat. And by sick i mean 100% shit

I have a couple of Crystalline & Tidal chests. Is it worth it to buy a key from the store? I'm curious.
The chests have a preview option. Take a look inside and see if you're okay with getting any one of the items available.
If the answer is yes, then use the key. If not and you want one item in particular, trade for it instead.

Use the steam market, it's official you can usually save a few cents on keys (except event keys, regional pricing differences keep those at like $2.80 or so?).
Huh? It doesn't sound at all like that to me. It's much more subtle than it used to be. It used to sound like shit - that stupid rattle that would overlap when you clicked around the menus. Now it sounds fine.
Ursas a good one too. Just beat the hell out of him with your passive.

Lancer, Dark Seer, Lone Druid if you count him come to mind instantly. There are probably a few more that I'm forgetting right now.
A melee hero with blade mail. I played a game with a Bloodseeker on my team who built it, and Ursa pretty much instagibbed himself on it.

I think eventually some older chests might be worth something if they never drop again and there are some particularly desirable strange versions of certain items. There's so much saturation though that it might be awhile before it gets to that point.
Otherwise all these limited edition chests have had expiration dates, so nothing of value there besides the actual items that come out of them.

Damn, won a game yesterday with 2 of our racks down, a natures prophet on the other team and with our team severely down in kills number.
It was a real stressful game, my friend has been losing A LOT and we were really trying to get a win for him but out carries were so stupid. They got themselves killed all the time. Luckily some well placed Jakiro and Tide ults can change the shape of the game. =)

Lich mid and late game does fall behind, but I feel like his strength is the early game and making sure to get your carry farmed while keeping the lane from being pushed. He can also be a real pain harassing and can keep the opposition teams carry from amassing too much farm in the early game. As long as he is involved in kills and get items like Mek up early he can still be effective with his ult and slow. He probably could do with a minor buff, but there are more important balances that need to be made first.

Allow sacrifice of enemy and neutral creeps and have it give you the gold + exp. like Dooms devour.
You now get a strong pusher who can also farm.
Then increase his DPS. Changing chain frost to pure damage (or only bounces between heroes) with scepter would ensure his late game is viable and give you an incentive to build a mid to late game item as such.
