You can mod all the weapon skins in tf2 all you want, doesn't mean they don't still make and sell same stat weapons that look different.

And also the fact that it's easy and takes only a couple of minutes, means it's still too hard for the average person to actually bother with it.

Any dotagaf tech guys know what it means if my laptop starts up, gets to the starting windows screen, then remains black with a movable mouse. Just stuck there with a black screen but my mouse is movable. HOW DO I FIX THIS? Am I screwed or should a computer repair shop fix this problem ez? Fucken paid $1000 for the desktop and $1300 for the laptop 2 years ago.

I bet one of my roommates fucked with my laptop when I went home on vacation for Spring Break. Knew I shouldn't have left it at the dorm.

How did the desktop 'die'? It's almost impossible to believe that you had two computers get screwed up without somebody doing something to them.

I don't really have very good map awareness and I generally don't know where I'm supposed to be at any given time. The map here seems larger and more complex than the LoL map, so sometimes I find myself running around blindly not sure where I'm supposed to be.

I'm on a 8 loss streak and I feel like every game is decided at 15 minutes, even though that's not true.

Their system is very streaky and I don't know why, I'm willing to pass it off as more than a coincidence at this point.

I was thinking either a KOTL mount or batrider mount... though I have no idea what I would do for the batrider, and I have a good idea for a kotl. Hrrmmmm.

I really do not care about my w/l record that much, but I am tired of getting destroyed. The last game I played, I was the only one who went positive and my team was 12-1 with me having the only kill and no deaths In the early game. I just don't get it and would like to have more fun playing.

Guide to not getting trashed in MM Dota 2.

Select US East server, English language.

Set mode to Random Draft and MAYBE Single Draft if you want to get risky.

Invite as many players from GAF channel as possible and friend them. Roll as a stack of 5.

Draft OP heroes always. Do not let opposite team pick Eza or Nyx. Doesn't matter if you can't play, get dibs on it so you can swap them later. If Eza and PL in same bracket always pick both.

When all else fails, just make sure you have stuns and skills that have team fight presence. In a low tier game team with more easy mode disables usually wins.

yeah, i suppose total stomps aren't fun at all. they're few and far between though, at least in my experience. picking modes other than ap and trying to communicate well can help at least a little bit.

No shit son. But you can increase your odds of winning random matches by not playing stuff like All Random and Least played plus by playing in stacks. I don't care if you are Dendi, if you got feeders/leavers on your team you aren't going to be winning consistently.

How is prophet vs. pudge mid suppose to play out?

I just got my ass handed to me by pudge, I rarely play death prophet at all though. Seems like the nukes were pretty pitiful early on and he can take advantage of my awful turn rate/speed/lack of escape and just rot me to death. I can usually dodge hooks easy but by the time I turn around and try to run away from a charging pudge he has me in his rot. Probably should play more careful against him, honestly thought krob was a bit more of a threat but she doesn't reach her potential until midgame.

Standard template for beating every Pudge mid:
Right click him every time he's in range while staying behind your creeps. Ideally you want to also get every last hit but if he's on less than 2/3 health then he'll be a lot less keen to rush you (since he'll die from rot just as fast as you at early levels) so if you're scared just focus on harassing him from max range and eating through his regen while he can't kill you easily.

If you see a chance to hit him with your nuke while simultaneously getting a creep kill then take it. Don't be afraid to push the lane towards a Pudge if you're just trying to avoid death because if he's pinned against his tower then he can't hook you, and you can go get any invis or haste runes that might have given him a free kill.

Lastly if you are doing extremely well in the first few minutes against a Pudge and are outlaning him while still having all your regen items, then consider buying boots before bottle. This goes for all heroes but especially DP, since if you've got boots and he doesn't then you can pretty much walk out of Rot even if he hooks you.

Once he pops 6, make sure you've got one ward on his side of the river that can watch the spots where he's likely to hook from. These will also help track his movements to gank your buddies in the sidelane.

I do hope this means that the other older models will get updates. I feel Veno's model is in much better shape than a lot of the other ones. But then again Slardar has cosmetics open to him and I'm not a huge fan of his design so who knows.

definitely sounds like your windows install is screwed up, rather than any kind of hardware fault.
if you have your windows disc you can try running startup repair, it MIGHT fix it if it can find a problem.
otherwise its time to format/reinstall windows.

if you have a tech savvy friend, they can pull your hdd out and put it in another pc to copy files over before it is formatted.

Being an American in the Japanese time zone means I get to frequently play with people I don't understand (almost always russians). But those few times I get people who I can communicate with, I always seem to win. It really is important.
