Actually, I think that Juggernaut is a relatively good counter to Pudge as well (as good warding of course). Pudge is mostly roaming solo, so a Omnislash will hit him really hard. It's physical damage, so his magic resistance will not help him anyway. Vladefury and healing ward. Pudge dead 100%.

Just played with 3 other friends in All pick, and we got the most rude player i've ever seen.
He demanded mid after a friend picked Storm Spirit and calling mid the second he joined the picking process has started, he picked TA 30 secs into the pre-game phase.
After the game started, Storm refused to give mid to her, rightfully, and she destroyed 2 of his bottles, stole his preserverence and denied him every farm, she also did fuck all the entire game apart from stealing certain kills.
Good god if people like these don't get banned, I've lost faith in valve, christ.

I'm pretty salty. I don't like to see Luna get bodied like that, but she didn't have enough help.

Indeed. TA could take her ass to a side lane and be fine. If he's dumb enough to pick another mid after mid has been called and a mid hero selected, he's too stupid to trust to handle mid properly. The trolling only makes it more apparent.
Might be a team game, but Storm can't play hard lane while at the very least TA can.

Well he got blink after BKB in a game with a Venge. And Beastmaster didn't get blink at all, going Necro (and trying to build Aghs) instead. Poor item decisions I think when they didn't have good initiation without blinks on those heroes. Counter-initiation to a degree sure, but that wasn't enough.
Some other poor decisions too, but that and showing their hand early with the 4th Engima pick allowing Liquid to immediately respond with Venge was bad. So not so great drafting.
And I have to wonder what the win-rate on Puck + Gyro is. That combo just seems to be demolishing with Dream Coil into Call Down. Move away you're fucked, stand still you're fucked. If the Puck gets 2+ people it's pretty much an automatic win for that fight.

Started watching that match because I was kind of curious how the TA ended up destroying 2 bottles but it seems at least that the TA randomed instead of deliberately choosing a mid. Everything after that sounds pretty inexcusable though..

That's even worse. This dude had the opportunity to look at the rosters of both teams and determine exactly what his team needed to succeed and select it because he picked so late.
Instead this bitchass mothafucka randoms...

Fuck that guy and all like him. Randoming as the last person to pick is quite possibly the most disrespectful thing you can do during the drafting phase. If you're going to random, random early so that the team can be built around the random. Don't do it last when the team needs an obvious carry or support role filled. If you do, have the decency to repick. Losing 100g early isn't nearly as bad as wasting your and everyone else's time for 30-45 minutes. Wasting everyone's time by throwing the game like a petulant child should be reason for a long, long trip to the shit tier MM. At least a month. I'm going to watch the match just so I can report him for intentional feeding.

So as Storm's crowing his second bottle back to him someone, presumably TA, makes the courier drop it in base. TA then picks it up and has two bottles now. I want to see what shit he pulls next. Oddly the TA seems to be quite well commended.
a lot of the real crazy asshole are, curiously. it's like they play normal before occasionally losing their shit

My friend just started playing and after finishing the Dragon knight tutorial his game is still stuck at the quest screen. Any help?

That single-handedly prevented them from losing the game right there. Had he not gotten that 4-man RP, they would have lost that fight quite horribly rather than about breaking even and would have subsequently lost at least one lane of barracks. Now it didn't necessarily mean a loss for Dignitas, but that Lifestealer was just a monster pretty much being able to solo Rosh after a fight with 3 dead on each side and cheese on him with an Aegis for Storm was GG.
Sounds like a crash, Dota 2 crashes from time to time, just ctrl alt del and restart it.

He restarted it several times, His game starts at the quest screen every time with no way to exit.
Are you sure you're not missing the close button at the bottom right hand corner?
This was actually addressed recently in patch notes. I think they thought they fixed it.

I think we've gotten to the point where an offlane Lone Druid is objectively bad in most situations. Put him mid, solo safe, hell even jungle and you're going to have a much better time. Way too easy to be completely shut down. It's just stupid if you're running him as a carry.

I went mid once as Jug against a Pudge, it was the only time I won against one. He still managed to do ok by feeding on team mates. My mid against Pudge usually is: he gets 4 cs after 8 minutes, then I get overconfident or make a msitake, he gets a hook on me and the advantage is gone.
Against pudge ward mid so your mid can get vision on him all the time, and ward the jungle for ganks. Get tps, and if you see him gank another lane, immediately tp and help countergank. Also get force staff to escape/help allies escape. Heroes with a silence work good on him, Silence him when he is rotting and see him die

play omni. heal and/or repel anyone that pudge hooks and he's entirely useless.
you can also outrun pudge because your slow is stronger than his.
been saying this for a while already, i go against any team that picks LD these days.
