Well above the requirements. Oh well, I'll figure it out sooner or later.
 
Out of town until late Tuesday so I won't get to have my funs with (or against) Skywrath until then. Maybe catch some streams of him seeing play.

Excited for next week though with the new additions to tournament captain's mode and whatever else that update may bring. Don't know if we'll necessarily get Elder Titan that early.
 
2 games, 2 sucky SM players.
Maybe its because im in LP

First game SM was in the other team. I was Pugna (second game as him).

He ended 1- 15.
 
Does this sound bugged? In my first game with SM, I'd ult a Huskar and it would take him down to whatever 30% or 50% what have you. The millisecond it ended he would immediately reverse the damage and go back to full health. Inner Vitality is not that strong is it?

His items were Armlet, Pipe, Urn and Treads.

Guh, i hate ignorante players. After being forced into the bot lane (which was a premade trilane btw) with clockwerk instead of mid, and getting through the laning phase with only 1 death and ganking some stuff, i get a blink after the dagon and the idiots that played Shaman and Skywrath just started bitching for me not upgrading my dagon.

Seriously, what the hell, Blink into a sheep is so much better than a dagon 5 ever will be, and in the end they tried to blame the loss on me, even though i was the only initiator (and managed to stun 2+ every time, always one of their carries at least) and died WAY less times than the SS, who fed like crazy early game and did squat all.

Ugh, DotA is a harsh mistress.
 
Weird, I wonder why they wont/cant use steam for chinese Dota2. Sounds like a great business opportunity missed. Perhaps Perfect World was opposed to it, or they found out that china would never accept steam. Or that if people had download two programs to get Dota2, they wouldn't bother when they have dota1 and + the looming LoL threat.

What was your reasoning for picking up blink after dagon, was the clockwerk not initiating enough?

But yeah, a build's not going to make or break a game.
 
Blink makes Nyx twice as effective in initiating on heroes, especially when solo. Teammates howling about him not upgrading his Dagon are Dunning-Kruger all-stars.

Dawwwww cute little blink dagger. Not sure why this isn't a hat for the blink digger heroes. Why axe gets one?
 
More reliable initiation chain with the Blink Dagger compared to Vendetta (sentry wards won't warn you he's coming), and you're much more likely to get the Vendetta nuke off also.

He went dagon 1 first though, which doesn't really feel like natural item progression, so I'm just wondering what changed over the course of the game to cause him to get it.

Prioritizes a pinch of extra burst over the immediate Blink, it's not entirely unorthodox. Leveling the Dagon before getting anything else would have been pretty questionable, though.
 
Lolol, GGs Perry, Chimp, One Man and Khalifa. Base under siege for 20 mins? No problem, don't lose tower, then proceed to win.

Our second game was pretty free too.

Yeah, that's what I though - I can't micro that many things.

Blink, vendeta on, strike, stun, mana burn, dagon.

You don't even get low-priority you get the bane ulti.

Because his skills 100% rely on your team doing all of the work. All he is good for is holding guys into place or returning them. Unless you're playing with four friends on a team and everyone is decent at Dota, he's impossible to excel with.

edit: He's just not fun to play.

Man, dropping a Barrier and glimpsing the enemy cary back into it right as you activate Static Storm is awesome

Get out of the trenches. He is easily one of the most fun to play - piggyback the ult on an AOE stun for insta-rampage. Sending a guy back after BoT is priceless.

Don't pick him unless you have a mag/tide/enigma/AOE stun.
