It means someone reported you and you were found guilty. They're gonna force people out of the trash talking cycle by encouraging reporting the person going in on you rather than talking back, and it's going to work. The other dude was probably muted as well if you reported him. One way or another the flaming is gonna slow down.

I wish they had translators on hand in Poland. All the interviews are leading questions or the guys are too nervous to expand more than yes or no. Really poor interview technique expecting ESL players to answer in 30s.
Same thing happened at TI2 with Chuan and Dendi. You can see the emotion in their eyes, but I know those guys could explain themselves so well in their native tongues.

I think a concede option is much better.
Does ping spam go through? I bet it does. A guy who can't express his rage via text/voice will simply draw shit on the screen and ping till the cows come home.

My main complaint that the punishment is stupid, since I'm useless in games now.
Having said that - I'm definitely not guilty (not that I can prove, doesn't matter anyway).
I didn't flame directly or said anything especially offending.
The only thing I did and could cause this is when I advised some asshole, who kept unpausing the game when someone on my team d/c since he had to eat, to leave the game since he didn't do much in team fights anyway. He automatically declared he was reporting. I guess someone at Valve was a bit light on the trigger and didn't read the whole conversation...
But again, I can understand all this, errors happen - but that's a very stupid way to punish players. At least let players use the chat wheel.
Another thing great about the current system - I don't know.
It should be a 1 day ban, since it's my first - but there is no way of knowing.
I didn't even know I was muted until I tried to actively chat. Everything is looking regular in the client.
This bot should be in the OP with an explanation.

The problem here is that when you hit play, you make a commitment, possibly an hour long commitment. You know that going in, so why would you start a game where 9 other people rely on you (in a sense) if you're going to need to do something else? My mates and I played against someone who paused because he needed to vacuum his room. WTF! Fair enough if your PC crashes, your connection drops or your mouse dies etc, but not eating or vacuuming. lol. I think the unpause is justified in those cases.
I don't agree with the complete communication ban, however, in the end it will make people think twice about pointless arguments (which seem to crop up every couple of games) and shit talking. Being the bigger man and ignoring is the way to go.

Yeah that was really funny, specially seeing Pyrion; he seems like a fatter version of Karl Pilkington. Although, once the game starts and you realize it's Tobi and Pyrion the fun of it just gets sapped out.

1) I'd be very surprised if you can get muted for just one incident.
2) It's fucking RIDICULOUS how many people join a game and then say "Can we pause? I need to go eat/take a shit/take my dog out/smoke a cigarette?" FUCK. YOU. You joined a game knowing that it's a fucking hour of your time, don't make the rest of us sit around waiting for your selfish ass.

Forgot to add - shoutouts to the GAF chat channel last night, had a lot of fun in our party. So nice to play with people who communicate. Had two great games, including a really fun comeback game as Tiny where I managed to outcarry their team thanks to the hard work of my team mates. Good times.

There are some colossal arseholes in this game. I've only played 2 games but I hope this isn't a representation of the entire game. If I'm doing something wrong just go "Do X and buy Y when you can afford it". Done. Instead of "get the fuck out you're wasting my time! ffs". And that's in a game we won.

1) Well, this system was only online since yesterday, and that's the only game for a lone while where the report could be somehow considered serious. I was reported a dozen times more, like everyone, by complete idiots of course. Either the system is at least partially automated, or that was the reason.
2) A guy disconnected (happened to him a few times during the game unfortunately) Sometimes connection problems happen, I experience those myself. We were near the end of the game, we still had a chance to win, and he was one of our 2 carriers. So some scum that doesn't do shit from the other team says he needs to go eat, and so he just unpauses? FUCK him.
You second point hits both ways. But yeah, if you don't have the time to play the match why did you even start it up in the first place? Having experienced both sides, my reaction is like "mehhhhhhhh" when this happens.

I don't rage in chat too easily, but yeah, I fucking lost it the other day when this guy on our team waits until the last minute to take a Weaver, despite the fact that we also had an Alchemist and Viper, and then the Weaver went on to blame me for "feeding" top because they had a brutal lane composition of Slark and someone else ranged, maybe Crystal Maiden, and we were both melee, while also blaming me for not ganking with the farm I didn't have because getting in experience range of this duo is an immediate death. And this guy just refuses to admit that his last minute third carry pick, a carry who requires a redonkulous amount of farm no less, was anything less then ideal. I was calling him a fucking asshole in all caps by the end. Its a team game. Communicate about your picks. If you're going to just take something on a whim DO NOT DO IT AT THE VERY LAST SECOND

The system doesn't just check reports since it's implementation. I've gotten 2 reports that have gone through already but I haven't even reported anyone since the new system was put into practice.

Lol. Had a game with Milk and he picked Skywrath Mage, and some guy on the enemy team picked Pugna. We dealt with the ward accordingly.
