Ya, looks like he carrying more than just his team at this moment! Needs a seventh slot, irl Brewmaster etc.
In the comments he says that this is a redesign to the cafe, not a brand new opening. He also states that he has a 4:1 profit margin. Super cool!

$3 for 10 hours. I think I missed something in my economics classes. If I would decide to visit Thailand, I would definitely start with this place.
Apparently very few people actually get the 10 hour pass and the food/drinks he offers helps him with his profits. Not to mention that he does something really smart with the pay system-apparently when you buy time, you get a ticket that is valid for 2 weeks. Good flexibility is always nice for this sort of business.
Also, as an Econ major: economics 4 lyfe!

This is one of the things I love about Valve. They're always experimenting and trying new things. Of course not all of them work out, but they're trying still trying stuff!

All chat, team chat, lobby chat, private game chat, chat wheel, minimap drawing. Only pings are enabled.
You are even muted when you play with friends. There was a huge thread @ dev.dota2.com. I can't find it now.

They massively lowered the number of reports needed for punishment, I think it stands at 4 reports now.

I'm kind of glad they are muting people, assuming that it is after they have verified that the person has repeatedly bullied others. Some of these people just start raging during the picking phase and by the start of the laning phase they are just screaming insults into their mic. In those cases I wish they would just ban their steam account from playing dota altogether.
Thanks for the compliments guys!! I might make a couple of changes based on your suggestions in here but I'm very happy the set has gotten such a positive response. You've been quite helpful. I'd also like to thank anuxi for helping me out on with an issue I posted about on the polycount forum.

The current system is awful. As I said: You are punishing EVERYONE who has to play with a mute.
You get NO message WHY you got muted and your team mates don't get a message that you are muted.
Also, it is easy to abuse, because it is an automated system.
Valve has the worst support system. They have like five people in their support team. Do you honestly think that they check EVERY report?

Are we certain of this? Seems curious that people are throwing this number around the exact same patch when the number of reports you're allowed to give was lowered to 4.
I am enjoying all these people that are complaining they have been "suspended" for no reason. Yeah, I'm sure you're being punished for being too good at the game. That's it.
Even better is in the Reddit comments you can already see them making stupid ass ignorant comments about the system, people who disagree with them and whatnot. Sounds like the system is working as intended.
Yeah, I think this is part of the system as well. If it works anything like their VAC, there will be a delay between the "offence" and the punishment. So people may be getting suspended now but the game that caused it could have been days or weeks ago.

Really though, it's just a video game. If you can't figure out how to behave like a fucking adult, why would I give a fuck if you can speak? I'd rather see and hear nothing than petulant whining and griefing. Learn how to behave and this won't be a problem for you (by you I mean anyone, ofc). 2,000 matches and I've never been low priority. It's not hard to not act like a dickhead.

This is very likely, I got a 'You got someone banned notice' yesterday but I haven't reported anyone since the report system change.
Got anther one this morning, I would like to believe it was that Vennomancer from last night who couldn't take a joke. Him selling everything and spamming couriers when the rest of the team was trying to defend is an instant report as far as I am concerned. But I have reported 103 people, so it could be one of them.

Well yes, but people report for the most ridiculous things. You missed your RP? REPORTED FOR COMMUNICATION ABUSE, etc.
This is a team game, communication is a key aspect. If the person is rude, just mute them yourself.
I liked the low priority system better. Hes an ass? Let him play with like minded people.

There are three possible cases I can see:
A) The person legitimately did not do anything bad and is being unfairly punished, in which case the inability to speak is nothing but a detriment to the rest of his team's ability to play the game.
B) The person does indeed deserve a punishment for being an unpleasant, foul mouthed individual. In which case why would we want to play with him at all? LPQ exists for a reason. Now instead others are stuck playing with an angry ass, only it's a mute angry ass, when previously he'd have been sent down to LPQ.
C) He's a fringe case and normally wouldn't rage/insult enough to warrant anything, but it went wrong this once. If he's a pleasant enough player normally, see A).
In no case whatsoever is having a teammate unable to communicate at all a positive change from the previous report system. If you find that someone is being an asshole, the mute button takes less than 2 seconds to hit, and you could use a report to send him to LPQ instead of letting him continue to queue.

I often play with people who don't speak or type a single word, beginning to end and we never suffer for it. Pings are enough for most pubs. Too much is said about too little in Dota, and it can be very distracting having someone talk at you, even if they're giving you good advice.. Like I said I like the system even if its really harsh. I'm a terrible shittalker and I'm gonna have to watch myself now...

That's unfair. There is no difference between being an asshole sore loser and just a not very good player loser. If these people are pooled together then the asshole people are just going to report the not so good players every time.
The message here is don't play our game if you are not good.
