7 to east, 6 to west
East: iG, LGD.cn, LGD.int, DK, Orange, Zenith, x
Last one will be VG or MUFC, I'm guessing VG
West: Na'Vi, Alliance, TL, Fnatic, Dignitas, x
Last one from west is going to be VP if they show that they're actually playing, otherwise most likely EG (or even an additional spot for the east)

That's my predictions.

edit: forgot fnatic.na, they're actually not in the normal tourney, but they're rather there as a final boss battle for the winner of the tourney, winners of that match get $10 million, losers get executed

They did it once or so

Sounds about right to me. No chances for TongFu, I guess?

Really looking forward for the EU qualifiers: Mouz, Empire, Qpandas, Rox.Kis, Eg/vp...

In my one year of spanish I learned one phrase and that was "Yo no hablo Espanol." So far it has come in handy. What I like about the Russians is that if they know some english they will at least try to communicate. Though they get angry quickly.

In my third year spanish class during high school, all we did was fill out coloring extra credit assignments that were worth more than the final. My teacher had a broken hip and a soft voice, so she sat at her desk and used a megaphone to speak to the class. A student carved "hips don't lie" into her classroom door and she put in her retirement notice soon after.

I didn't learn shit that year. Thankfully everyone I've played with in dota understands english.

Also ksan don't forget about Rattlesnake.

TongFu hasn't really done anything lately, they're definitely gonna be in the qualifiers though.

Yeah, they're really good, but I still think both MUFC/VG has proven more, so I'm nearly sure they're gonna be in the qualifier

I took Spanish 101 in college and it was terrible. The professor assumed we all took it in high school and treated it as a "refresher" course, which meant she sped through all of the basics and I was behind pretty much from the get-go. Total bullshit. I only got 3 C's in college and that was one of them.

I haven't seen VG play, are they actually good or is it just big-name ZSMJ?

Hah, scrubs. My Spanish is native level.
probably because I'm spanish

T> dirty words in spanish class for rares

Edit: Also Does E-Home still exist? Loved the tiny wisp doto

I'd put good money on VP, EG and QPad getting in.

But I didn't realize there was a limit going to the West and East.

This was a very scary game for a while. I'd picked up a team member in the Giant Bomb channel and they hadn't played much (Drow), and the Disrupter randomed him and went for void stone immediately (I told him not to, but he said "trust me"). I started as support after seeing that neither ES nor Disrupter were doing so, but I had to go teamfight/semicarry after I started getting kills and only TA and I were doing well.

It is. And it's actually conjugated correctly which is a rarity in these things that use latin (bioshock infinite had a really strange one recently). Means Born to Conquer.

I'm not a latin expert, but born to conquer should be constructed in sbjunctive mode (ut xxx), I think. You don't use an infinitive form jsut like that.

Can anyone link me a good Nature's Prophet replay to watch? He feels like a game changing hero when played well, though I feel completely useless with him when the game goes badly. The split push doesn't seem worth trying if their heroes can 1v1 you easily. I also think I'm missing a trick with his jungling as I'm quite slow.

Purge good enough for you or something simpler/specific?

Gets really tiresome to see Na'Vi redraft at no cost whatsoever. Oh, you wanted that Chaos Knight? Too bad, we didn't mean to draft him. Honest.

Even though this was from a while ago, I think it bears clarification. NaVi didn't do anything wrong here. They accidentally drafted CK at the last pick of the first pick phase and informed Alliance immediately they wanted to switch it to rubick, and then banned rubick immediately after. Alliance would've never had a chance to pick him and they didn't get an "extra ban", they just swapped a consecutive pick and ban.

For jungling, remember as a Treant gets lower health, pull it out and let the creeps hit the other one, and repeat this. Start with the small camp, gradually move up to the medium. As you get more levels in Nature's Call, you can take on the large camps.

For the split push, it's all about pushing behind their backs. Are there 5 X's on the top lane? Then TP bottom and push it. Assuming you have maxed your TP quickly, you have that thing on a 20 second cooldown, so by the time they try to stop you, you can walk away, and TP out.

Also, CARRY A TP, EVEN ON NATURE'S PROPHET! If something goes wrong on a TP, you still have something to fall back on to get out. It can also be used aggressively. I LOVE sniping the walking courier early game. Just watch the map for it and you can make the TP for it.

It's been many years, but I don't remember what would be wrong with using the indicative because it's a likely future outcome. But most of what I remember about subjunctive is dependent clauses, and there really isn't much room for that here. It wasn't "I was born to conquer" which is what I think you're going for with the ut.

Also I wasn't terribly good at latin, I just took it lol.

The other thing about Prophet that I've realized is that Shadow Blade is easily worth a first item on him (perhaps after midas, treads, basilius though). You can channel the teleport while invis, so just split push and people coming? Pop that shit walk away a bit and teleport out scot free. It's definitely my ideal choice now if I remember to get it over Orchid.

Whatever dude. You're such a NaVi groupie.

I took 日本語 in high school and college. 6 years and I could still barely hold a 2 minute conversation. But hey I got a trip to Japan out of it, so that was cool.

Sugoi!

I took Japanese, been working on traditional Chinese Hanzi, and now working on Korean. You got some catching up to do bro.

Some tricks.
- pull the creeps at :53-54 on the clock so you have 2 camps at the same time (might want to wait till you are producing 3+ treeants at a time)
- if your treeants are on cooldown teleport to the top of the mountain on the radiant side (creep camp nearest to the radiant fountain)
- use your groupings and creep multiple camps at the same time
- if you finish all the camps go to the other side's jungle
- don't forget to kill the ancients and Rosh

Alliance and Fnatic invited? Well deserved! They've improved dramatically this past year.

I'll be very surprised if EG are invited, they're too up and down lately. Qualifiers for them for sure. QPanda in qualifiers too probably. (<3singsing, ilu2wagamama but i think you're the heaviest player in their team)

Heavier than Select?

Yeah, I don't think there's any chance of Pandas getting an invite. I still think they're strong contenders for the qualifiers, though.

What's the Wild Card slot going to be used for? Anyone have ideas?

じょうず!

I got shit in high school. Only had boring French lessons and I think I've come across 1 French player in Dota.

Runner ups in the east/west qualifiers duke it out the day before TI3 to see who gets the Wild Card spot.

And yea idk, waga's play has never been really impressive to me.

It's cause he's not an impressive player :d

He's probably the most boring player I've ever seen.

The other day I was playing with gaffers and I made that mistake Waga just made. We were smoked and I went #yolo against an illusion. It was absolutely embarassing, and I'm ubershit tier ._.
