Here comes the novice question of the day.

What could make me randomly loose mana ? I mean, loosing mana without using items or abilities ? It happens a lot to me when not doing nothing and boom, less mana and I cant cast skills available 2 secs ago.

Enemies might have spells that drain your mana. Did you go against a: Lion, Nyx Assassin, Invoker, Anti-Mage, Silencer, or Keeper of the Light? Did your enemy have a: Diffusal Blade or Necronomicon?

WASD camera movement since the first game of Dota 2. Spent like 3 minutes in the fountain figuring out where the settings was and everyone was yelling at me.

*sniff* Good times.

beatin like my mother... by the milkman.

Good Lord... just imagining to play with that makes my brain hurt. More power to you since you're able to do it but jeez. Then again, I don't see how people can use z, x, c, v, etc. My hand just doesn't work well that way I suppose :\

Rather redundant items aren't they? I understand why one is better, especially in certain scenarios, but getting both? Then again, I'm not really a Tinker player.

I usually only get Blink, but getting both is useful in cases where you're against a Clinkz or Bounty Hunter or something, or if we just need an extra Force Staff. I've assisted escapes of teammates before by Blink, Force Staff, Rearm, repeat.

I find that the people who don't understand why someone on their team is getting frustrated when they're offering advice are generally doing it in a really shitty fashion. Most of the time it just slips through with some venom, not even on purpose. Don't shit talk teammates unless the game is already over, and even then avoid it unless the person is a vile human.

There's a really huge difference between a condescending tone saying, "why aren't you buying wards?" and, "hey, could you buy some wards and place them here (ping) and here (ping)? would be appreciated".

Because it takes longer to type the latter.

No excuse for BM of course. I hate when people get so out of control upset that it brings down the team.

It'll be done, and Valve has made it fairly clear when it will be: when the core roster from Dota1 is ported over and the tutorials are completed.

That's not what I mean. Yes that's when beta will end, but the game will not stop updating after that. New heroes, hats, holiday modes, etc will all be added after the official release.

7 win streak, now 3 terrible losses in a row where my teammates seem like they've have just started playing dota.
this fucking matchmaking system.

No mana drain from Lion or mana leak from Keeper. Im talking about not even being in fights. And it happens in very early game, so expensive items like Necro or Diffusal are out of consideration.

Can it be related to mana gained by Soul Ring use ?

Pugna ward?
http://www.dota2wiki.com/wiki/Pugna...erstand you o.o Thx for the replies btw.

Pretty sure its not Pugna ward related... but does Pugna ward even damage your mana ?

Im going to be honest and say I didnt understand you o.o

Thx for the replies btw.

There you go. The extra mana gained from Soul Ring is lost when it's effect runs out. Which is why it's best to activate Soul Ring then use spells as you're using up the extra mana pool from the ring.

What I meant from being beaten was that everything I was going to say was already said. Just like what happened again thanks to mkenyon. /flipstable

Mana gained from soul ring isn't perma. It goes away.

Oh, here we are into something. Didnt know it wasnt permanent =/

Thanks a lot.

This is what I usually do. I've done the Ancient jungling build once. I got my stuff fast, but I feel like the gank build is better as it lets our team rule early to mid game easily, and that's about when our carry comes "online", sooner when things go REALLY well. Then there's pretty much no chance for the other team, so towers and raxes start dropping.

I'm a huge fan of sheep, but if I"m insanely farmed I get both Sheep and Dagon 5. It's so much fun to have Blink, Force, and Sheep, especially if they happened to get a farmed carry. Just keep them sheeped while your carry murders them.

Best build if you're rich is Ethereal Blade + Dagon 5. So much fun. But I'd definitely get something like Force Staff in between that.

I didn't know that either about Soul Ring. I might need to re-think my Bane build now as I was finding my mana levels depleted but couldn't understand why. lol

Maybe just pick up void stone it's 25 gold cheaper then Soul Ring and gives 50% more mana regen.

No no. soul ring gives a 150 instant pop for 150 hp.

An extra 50% of 1 mana/second is not really useful early on.

There's a couple of agi or str heroes I usually want a mana regen item of some kind on but I'm never sure which one. You could go for an urn or a medallion, soul ring or just a casual void stone. Like for Mirana especially, or someone like Sven or Dragon Knight. I might try Soul Ring on Dragon because of his regen.

Suddenly i dont feel alone anymore <3

Soul Ring still kicks ass. What im going to need to do is getting better at using the item taking this new knowledge into consideration.

Soul Ring on DK is like the corest of cores in Dota pub play. I don't know how you could live without it.

Soul ring on dark seer is awesome. I leave base with the recipe so I can pick it up in the item shop. Ion shells all day

I always hear people say that bringing recipes at start is bad because that's regen/items that you're missing out on. But you still have 450 I think worth of stuff you can get to cover that. Or at least I think if you're running out of regen items before you can get the ring then buying the recipe might not be the problem that needs addressing.

During the last few days we had several internal issues. Intense fights between the players resulted in two sides not being able to play together anymore. The reasons were differences at willingness to commit to Dota, moral depressions through moderate results and standard child crap.

Since it doesn't make sense to continue playing that way, I came to the conclusion that one of these two sides has to go. It's a shame that it had to come to this, but there was no other way.

Mouz is such a mess.
